It carries-out direct extraction right at the point of humidity for a steam-free bathroom environment. Shower Fan Complete comes complete with a loft fitting kit – 3m of flexible ducting and an external grille. The fan used in this solution is a Simply Silent DX100BTR, which is a stylish 2 speed fan selectable at install. The product is a timer fan, meaning that it is activated by an external switch (for example a light circuit) and will overrun for a period (selectable between 30s and 30mins) once the external switch is turned off. • 2 speeds, extract rate of 15 & 21l/s (54 & 76m3/hr) • Power Consumption of 6.0 & 6.7W • Acoustic Performance of 22 & 34 dBA @3M • IPX4 rated • Spigot diameter 100mm, use with 100mm duct • Fan Dimensions (H x W x D) – 178 x 178 x 122mm • 2 year guarantee

There core cable needed
What a great fan, very quiet and easy to install. There core cable needed for install so you have a permanent feed as well as switch live. Control setting could be clearer, delay ok but speed is a black plastic connector not easy to see.
All quiet on the bathroom ceiling
So quiet you can hardly tell it's on. Only downside was the time and effort spent trying to remove the gunky residue from a sticker which had been stuck on the front casing. Fairly easy to install and good value.
Very noisy
The media could not be loaded. This is the second one that we've fitted and within a couple of weeks has started making a horrible noise, just like the last one.
