One did break after a year - I think due to over washing? Since it was washed more than the other. But we’re ordering another.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this blanket last year, December 1st, 2024, when it was on sale, not knowing if I would use it since I live in Texas [we have unpredicable weather]. One day it could be 90 Fahrenheit, the next day 10 Fahrenheit, which is exactly what happened! It finally got cold with snow during the midnight hour. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and it got warm, but I got cold, then checked to see if it was on, and all 3 lights were blinking. I contacted Bolo, they said, "It was past the return date!" I explained I live in Texas, and it doesn't get cold. What was I supposed to do, use it when it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit? They said, "Yes!" I then called back and explained the entire situation again. I was sent a barcode label via email, which I printed for UPS for pickup, but it was never picked up. I then called back. 'Bolo said, "The return date had expired. "Why send me a barcode label if it was? I still have the heating blanket in my possession. UGH!

I was a little nervous about getting an electric blanket because I am so hot natured, but my feet are constantly cold so I got those throw size one just to put my feet in and not try to awkwardly wrap my heating pad around them. I was not expecting to end up sleeping with it every night. My two dogs sleep with me as well and they are obviously huge fans too. They aren't very rambunctious and are 18 and 46 lbs, so I'm not sure if they are a good gauge for how durable or pet friendly it is. They have walked on it and curled up in it quite a bit though and it is fine. I have only had it about a month but if anything changes I will come back and update this.

Update: The warranty process was very simple to initiate, communication was good and a replacement was shipped quickly.Currently waiting on replacement which hopefully will last for years. Be sure to register purchase for warranty coverage.I love this heated throw blanket. I put it on top of my other blankets at night and stayed warm and slept great. On very cold days I moved it to the couch to stay warm without heating the whole house. It automatically turns off after 2 hours. I found this a little bit short for during the night but if I woke up cold I just turned it back on.The only negative is a big one. Less than two months after I received the blanket it stopped working. One night it just would not power on. I found reset instructions but it didn’t fix the issue. The return window for Bolo had ended about a week before it failed. I have filed a claim with the manufacturer warranty. Hopefully they will replace it before winter is over. I’m very sad and missing the warmth.

The media could not be loaded. I've bought a bunch of heated blankets. Some from Walmart, some from Bolo. My husband bought me this one for Christmas to use at work and I am beyond happy with it. It gets warmer than any others I've ever had. It is so very, very soft but not to the point that it sticks to my dry hands. If you're on the fence about buying it, do it. It is 100% worth it. I bought myself a second one for home. I've washed(air dry) this blanket a couple of times and it still works. It is perfect.

I liked that this product heated quickly. I didn’t like that it didn’t even last a year! I should’ve read others reviews before ordering because apparently this happens often!If you want a blanket that will last you a long time, don’t order this one!!!
