I really don’t get the vast of the negative reviews. I understand some might be legit due to malfunction of the device, damaged goods etc. but one can’t deny that the product quality is superb compared to products within the same price range. I have been using Phillips Norelco products above the Series 5000 and thought they had the best products! The Norelco 5400 cost more than $60.00 with half the performance results! OEM head replacements cost well over $35.00!!!! I am EXTREMELY happy and surprised with how this Braun S3 series outperforms the competition. Super close shave, I received the item on Nov 30, 2024, and right away charged it fully. I used it for the 1st time on Dec 2 with EXCELLENT results. Today is 12/13/24, and have shaved a total of 4 times since and have not had to recharge the battery. I do a dry shave, the unit is NOT louder than my two Norelco units, and the replacement heads are at least 1/2 the cost vs the competition. I paid for it in full, this is not a trial purchase.

My expensive self-cleaning shaver is wearing out and turning to junk. The cartridge assemblies are pricey and it just started to suck. I got the cheapest rechargeable shaver I could find. This one has less expensive cartridges and can be washed in the sink.It shaves way closer than my previous several shavers. It was 1/3 the price, too. Battery life is good for 4-5 shaves and the irreplaceable batteries are actually replaceable if you search on how it can be done. I hope for this to last 4-5 years.

This is the best shaver I've ever had! I've had other supposedly good shavers but they always fell short. Even the floating 3-head version. Right out of the box I shaved a 3-day beard. It did a great job.Honestly, it won't shave as close as a razor, but it's very, very close. It's about 99% that of a razor and it doesn't take but a few minutes to get the job done.I got the $60 version with the pop up trimmer because it's handy for trimming sideburns and back-of-the-neck hair.Highly recommended!

I have been using this shaver for almost 2 1/2 years now. I have seen some reviews on here that were displeased with the sound level, but I have used it in motel room settings without waking my children (note: your kids may vary...). At this stage, the battery lasts me between 2 and 3 weeks with daily use, slightly less than it did originally, but still reasonable. The cutter head does not last me nearly as long as the advertised 18 months, probably closer to half that, and the quality of shave declines after about 6 months. In fairness, I generally am shaving in a hurry, and so I probably press harder and run faster than ideal, which may well reduce the cutter's lifespan.The beard trimmer was the most disappointing feature when I first got this shaver. The button/lever to flip up the trimmer was harder for me to operate (it could stand to be raised a little more), and it felt flimsy; I was afraid that I'd break something as hard as I had to push. However, after a couple of months (and that was only using the trimmer a few times a week) it seemed that the lever got broken in better, and now it operates much more easily. It just took some time.All in all, I am very pleased with this shaver. It cost considerably more than the Remington it replaced, but it's also already outlasted that one, and it gives every sign of continuing in service for a long time more.
Barba ótima, seco e molhado, atende com perfeição
Já tinha um igual, comprei o mesmo modelo e realmente é um aparelho excelente para um barbear rente e perfeito seja a seco ou molhado. O aparador de costeletas também é ótimo e completa o serviço. A carga dura quase 2 semanas. 100% satisfeito.
