I decided on the 12 v because this is the first time getting acquainted with a drill. I figured that if I get one with a lower voltage it would be easier for me to use until I get proficient at it & then I can get a 20 v down the road if I become more skilled at using it.For starters I think this was the right choice for me. I used this to help install kitchen curtains & I think it did a nice job! So, I'm very happy with my purchase & I look forward to using it on many more projects!

This is the first cordless drill ive owned and it works well, hold a charge, and does the job. Not sure how we can improve opon this design, as Black and Decker is probably number one in their game.

Great drill. Works well. Battery life seems good. Bought it to run up and down jacks on my RV. My concern is that I don't see replacement batteries advertises anywhere. We'll see.

For price and weight it, so far, is a great addition to my house repair kit.Needed a portable as my other one has a short cord and is heavy and a pain for tight or outdoor spaces at my garden apartment complex.This is great for garden fencing etc. I hope the battery lasts a long time as I don't use it much.We'll see.

This powerful and compact little drill has great battery life and is more than adequate for any small jobs around the house. I am very very pleased with its performance, and glad I didnt overspend on a comparable drill. Its lightweight and easy to manipulate. It did not come with multiple drill bits so I purchased the BLACK + DECKER 71-912-CA 45 Piece Drilling and Screwdriver Set for $14 and now I have everything I could need. Bonus was tghat the bit set fits neatly into the drill box to keep everything organized and together. Very pleased with my purchase.
