This is simple to assemble and fits a huge amount of contents. It’s built to last and can’t wait to get all of the highly nutritious dirt in a few seasons.

As I had seen others suggest, I laid out the roll into the sun while I did other yardwork. This made it much easier to get together. Clips were easy to use. I added rebar inside to hold in place. Once I get back home I will add some sting to tie to the rebar to make it stronger in staying down. I didn't think about that before heading out.I like that I can change the size. As my garden grows, it can grow with it.

Wow these are a lot bigger than I thought they would be and so easy to put up! I can see the air flow happening and when it rains it filters through and out.

I wish I had this years ago - back before I spent time and money building my own composters. This thing is hyper-mobile, reasonably-priced, weighs next to nothing, is simple to put together, and of obvious quality. I just bought another one as proof.

Product is cheap, and mostly does what it is supposed to-contain the leaves/grass for composting. It has very little structure without something supporting it, or without a load of leaves/grass inside. My main complaint is with the plastic clips that hold it together. They don’t give you enough of them. As you can see in my picture, the bottom clip has come out and is basically impossible to reinstall while a load is inside the bin. I probably knocked it loose while dumping grass. If they gave you one clip for each hole in the bin, that gap wouldn’t be so big, and I wouldn’t feel the need to tear the bin down and reassemble in the fear that it will eventually break/spill. Also, the plastic is stretching a bit where the clips are, which makes me wonder if these bins will last more than a couple seasons. This would be reduced by spreading out the tension if they gave you more clips.

I bought two of these a couple years ago, and just came back to buy a third, so I can say they are perfect for my "lazy" style of composting. If you are one of those hardcore composters who wants your pile to reach specific temperatures and break down quickly, there are probably better options. If you are someone who prefers to throw everything in a pile and turn that pile a couple times a year, this will keep your pile in a tidy cylinder, instead of sprawling into a messy heap.These things are super easy to set up and break down. I like to hammer wooden stakes inside around the perimeter just to keep it stable while it is still mostly empty. When my bin fills up, I just unwrap the outer layer, set it up next to the original pile (which should now hold the shape it has been molded into), and pitch the materials back into the newly set up bin, so that the stuff that was on top ends up on the bottom. That's how I turn my pile. When spring comes around, I do this until I reach the stuff on the bottom that has composted enough to be usable, and haul that into my garden. That's how I decrease my pile.There's just one detail about this bin that I'm not crazy about: I know the holes in the sides are necessary to keep oxygen flowing (so it doesn't become an anaerobic pile), but they do this well enough that the sides always dry out, and thus don't compost as quickly. I'm wondering if lining the inside with cardboard will help better retain moisture, while still allowing sufficient oxygenation? Something to experiment with...
