Not as thick as the pricier brands, but they do the job. I use them for filing and for keeping certain things together and segregated from other things, and for that they work fine. Sometimes I need to take a file along; when I do these fit nicely in my briefcase or in a tote or even tucked inside the back cover of a binder. They probably would not stand up very long to the daily file transport and shuffle of a busy work day of back-to-back meetings and varied activities. But for home office they are fine and for less manic daily work routines, these are well worth the price. I highly recommend. I'll buy the big name brands when my boss is footing the bill ; )

Honestly thought they might have been to good to be true considering the price, but they are exactly what I needed. They are ever so slightly thinner than the Smead brand, but they are still good quality. So worth the purchase!

The one-inch pouch folders are a good size for a thicker batch of papers than would conveniently fit in a standard manila folder where you have to crease the folder on the bottom to make the papers fit. Also...smaller and odd-sized papers won't fall out of the ends the way they might in a standard folder. I won't be handling these folders too much, so it's hard to say how robust they are; but so far, so good. The two-inch size is obviously a good choice for a real handful of papers. I will probably be using the standard folders from now on only for cases where I just have a few papers to put in them to keep everything together.
