Improved from the old version!! The old version was great and durable I dropped that thing so many times thinking it was toast and nope!!! New version is easier to clean and easier to drink out of without spilling. I cannot express enough how much I love these water bottles and how truly flawless they are. I can't think of one single complaint.They don't have a dumb straw which is just one more thing to remove to clean, obviously the auto open and close is a must, they have a wide opening for ice which is also easy to use with a refrigerator ice dispenser, it has lock option so it doesn't open on it's own in your purse/bag or your child, mouth cover that opens very easy yet stays shut well to keep it clean, dishwasher safe (top rack) and very easy to open and clean, stylish looking with great color options and size options!! Also the price is really good for the quality. I could go on... Oh and the clip!!! You can clip it to a backpack or purse or diaper bag or belt loop or pinky finger while you carry a bunch of stuff and your baby or clip your keys to it at the gym!!! Ok I'm really done. Customer for life.This is not a complaint but just be aware when you take a drink not to tilt it back too far because water will spill out of the vent and onto your face. Think of it like a glass of water rather than a bottle when you drink from it. The vent has to be there so no getting around that and if they were to put it in a different spot the water would spill onto your lap or some other place anyway which would be worse.

I honestly can’t believe that these aren’t flying off the shelves. This is the best water bottle I’ve EVER used, and I’ve used a lot of different types.It’s SO easy to clean — there’s no straw and you can open the top up, so no dirt or germs can hide or build up. I just open the top and pop both the top and bottom on the top shelf of my dishwasher and have never, ever found it anything but totally clean.It doesn’t leak at all, if it falls over. Great for kids.After buying one off the sale shelf at a local store, I loved it so much, I came and bought more on Bolo.The only, single con is that it’s plastic. I would rather it be stainless steal, but, ultimately, I am willing to trade that for transparency and less weight. If you overfill it, it does leak a few drops with your first sips, but if you don’t overfill it, there’s no problem.It’s honestly the best find of 2020 for me.

UPDATE:DO NOT FREEZE BOTTLEI like to freeze mine until the water gets a little crystalized. However, with this model when I did that and pressed the auto seal, the connecting piece snapped, a spring popped out, and the bottle was dead. Took it back to target for a refund, ordered another (for cheaper!) here. Lesson learned. But if freezer-to-sipping is a dealbreaker for you, this bottle won't work. The mouth is wide enough for ice cubes thankfully!First, let me prove what high standards for a water bottle I have: This is even better than my last Contigo, aka my sickness buddy - my last Contigo was like an extension of my hand through a long term illness, and nursing. I mean I was never, ever seen without this thing. I never left the room, let alone the house, without it. That's love. I filled it 4 times a day at least (glug glug glug). However I dropped it so many times the lip was jagged and asking for bacteria growth, and eventually the silicone-like piece just inside the lip started to turn orange, which grossed me out despite cleaning it. I need products that can get completely clean, and ideally without a ton of effort bc I spend enough time obsessing over cleanliness as is. Anyway. Needed a new BFF.I tried a few other brands from Target. Liked an open mouth design, bought 3 for the family. All 3 broke from mundane use within a week.Contigo, save me! Enter my cool sky blue buddy.A lot has already been said, my ramblings plus other reviews so I'll say this: I've had it two months, and the seal hasn't failed me (knock wood). The auto seal button gives almost too much resistance, so I have to wonder if the spring has been strengthened? I like that my kiddo can't press the button if she hands it to me.I love the gray flip cover, which I finally realized is to keep grime out of your mouthpiece, not prevent leaks. Sand, purse crumbs, pollen, etc.No leaks ever! And I toss it in a backpack constantly. Fits in a standard cup holder and backpack mesh cupholder. Steaming hot water and dish soap seem to reach all the nooks and crannies, and no soft silicone areas to get all gross or dry out and crack.Getting a second one for safety!!

This is hands down my favorite water bottle (I own two of them now and no matter how many other water bottles I buy I always end up using these anyway) For some reason I've never been crazy about water bottles with straws (I think because they always leak on me when I carry them around, lol) I'm always moving around, whether in the classroom, running around to different meetings and appointments, or at home running up and down stairs, carrying a baby on one hip, and I love how this bottle WILL NOT LEAK even if I "forget to close it", and how it has a super easy carry handle that can also clip onto a purse strap, AND it fits in my car cup holder. Lastly, it's dishwasher safe. So basically, All the things I need, haha! Highly recommend 😃

Anfangs begeistert dann aber schnell enttäuscht.Wir hatten 5 dieser Flaschen und waren anfangs total begeistert. Da man auch ohne Probleme Kohlensäure Getränke rein füllen kann ohne das die Flasche ausläuft. Besonders für den Schulranzen super.Sie lassen sich auch einfach reinigen.Jedoch ist relativ schnell der Druckknopf bei 3 Flaschen abgebrochen.... Der Stift hierfür scheint nicht stabil genug zu sein.Nach anschreiben der Firma kam keine Reaktion was wir für den Preis der Flaschen sehr enttäuschend fanden.Fazit für den Preis zu kurzlebig.Wir haben jetzt Flaschen für den halben Preis die hochwertiger sind und auch halten.

Great water bottle! No spills, it has a special lock to seal it. You can throw it into a bag and know that nothing will get wet. I don’t leave the house without it.
