A steal.A more lengthy review this time, its been a year now and I have to add more than the fact this is a steal. I'm addicted to speakers, Klipsch mainly. I've loved this since I got it, still love it even after having the RP 450c in main theater room. I came back to review this again due to recently buying the Polk center channel that is so eye catching...the one with the 6 little woofers. Very cool and solid speaker I am not here to bash Polk in any way. But I used the polk in place of this Klipsch R25C for a month or so. The moment I stopped on the Polk and hooked this (entry level) Klipsch back up in its place I immediately knew I just I wouldn't be using the Polk in place of this again. The clarity that this speaker and the rest of the dozen Klipsch speakers have is just totally unmatched. Really the fact that this is $140 is one of those things in life that just doesn't make sense. I highly recommend this speaker and every other Klipsch I've purchased, which is many. Once you experience the clarity and sound quality especially in the higher frequencies you'll be a Klipsch "life-r" like me. And I say this having been a bass guy my whole life. Klipsch opened my whole music world up for the past year have been blasting the most suspect selection of music simply for the acoustical quality. My neighbors think I'm a Mariah Carey/Whitney Houston fan but really it's just so mind blowing to hear all this music again on this level of speaker. Klipsch in my experience are the best hands down. I highly recommend ALL speakers by these guys, thoroughly impressive.

I have what I'd consider an entry level 3.1 theater system that includes this center channel, Klipsch R-15Ms, an 8-inch Energy sub and a Pioneer VSX-821 AVR. Once I found the right balance and settings in the AVR and the right setting in the audio/video source, this speaker really brings another level to your TV/movie watching.The dialogue is loud and true and it blends perfectly with the matching R-15Ms while I let the sub handle the low-end. The clarity of the highs and rumble of the lows is great for action movies or movies with great sound effects. The contrast of highs and lows give the sound "life." For the $165 I payed, I don't think there's a better value out there that can match Klipsch sound quality.In regards to music, I typically don't play music with the center channel being that most music is processed in stereo, or 2-channel. I have used the Pro Logic II Music and DTS NEO:6 Music decoder settings on my AVR to simulate center channel audio from a stereo source. It adds more sound, not better sound. If you're easy listening on your turntable, 2-channel is better but if you're having a party then use all the speakers. It'll sound find either way.

I added this center channel speaker to an already excellent system consisting of Klipsch RP600M-II Speakers, Klipsch SW12 Subwoofer and Onkyo NR7100 Receiver. The result? Vocals and audio soundtracks within movies are now front and center, crystal clear and sound fantastic ! This is absolutely a night and day difference. Movies sound SPECTACULAR! I purchased this CC USED LIKE NEW for $87 and it arrived in a crappy condition original box but the CC is in flawless condition! I highly recommend this CC!

Got this last year to replace a 20 year old JBL center channel speaker. My hearing is not what it used to be and hearing/understanding dialogue on some TV shows is difficult, especially when there is a lot of background soundtrack going at the same time the characters are speaking.I own a couple of Klipsch bookshelf speakers (also 20 years old) that I use with a B&W subwoofer because I thought the Klipsch sounded clearer than the B&W 601s that I originally bought to use with the sub. They are very nice speakers and impressed me with Klipsch products. The horn tweeters sound excellent. But, this new center channel did not sound much different than the old JBL.Some reviews mention how the Klipsch just made everything immediately clearer sounding and that they heard things they'd never heard before. That's not the case for me. I'll keep the Klipsch in place because its hooked up, but if it breaks I won't run right out to buy another. I'll just hook the JBL back up. Don't get me wrong, its a very good speaker, but its not the miracle that some reviewers glow about.If you are looking for a very good center channel speaker, this is one you should consider strongly. Its clear and it produces a lot of volume and voices sound very natural. And I paid less for it than I paid for the JBL twenty years ago.

I’m far from some audio nerd so take what I write with a grain of salt. I’ve slowly been upgrading my 5.1 surround unit and had no idea the most critical speaker was the center one. This unit dwarfed my original startup MIP center speaker from a size and sound standpoint. Not only does it produce overall better sound as it relates to music/movies, but also produces ALL the sound effects you might of been missing. Take for instance when my kids were playing Fortnite on the new speaker. All of a sudden we were exposed to all these additional sound effects we had never heard before (wind/leaves blowing etc). At first I thought the makers of the game had updated the game with some patches that added more sound effects, but then realized we had been missing so much additional sound enhancements this whole time. Who knows what else we’ve been missing all these years during movies and shows. Speaker can handle turning volume way up off my Yamaha receiver without distortion. Produces legit base to accompany your sub, and of course you no longer have to worry about not hearing all vocals being spoken during movies when there’s other sound effects going off which was often the case with old speaker. Well worth the money for the quality you get.

El central ideal para usarlo con los demás altavoces de la misma serie (Reference), tiene el mismo tweeter que las torres delanteras y altavoces surround que es lo que se busca en las configuraciones de Home Cinema para que no haya variaciones en el sonido cuando un efecto va de un canal a otro. Buenos acabados y sonido muy claro y limpio con un precio asequible.

Cette centrale klipsh est vraiment tres bien .. Les voix sont hyper naturelles c est tres tres dynamique et bon.. Mais attention les hauts parleurs klipsch necessitent un LONG rodage.. au deballage le son est vraiment pourri.. aucun grave aigue agressif et plastique, manque d ampleur.. une vrai casserole.. franchement ca fait peur pour celui qui n est pas prevenu.. Mais a l utilisation c est une bonheur d entendre l enceinte se liberer, le son devient tres beau et naturel et ample.. Au minimum apres 100 heures d ecoute a niveau moyen/fort.Je pense qu un haut parleur klisch donne le maximum de son potenciel apres environ 500 heures d ecoute.. il est bon de laisser tourner de la musique lorcequ on est pas la .. Mais au final.. que du bonheur .. rare son les haut parleurs capable de restituer une telle dynamique.. avec un tel naturel.. ca decoiffe et je recommande chaudement .. La marque ultime pour un home cinema..
