I also used these for years until I couldn’t find them locally, THANKS Bolo for carrying them! They are easy to use with the green tab for ON and red for OFF, the time setting dial is color coded white for AM and gray for PM, and the directions included are brief and well written with pictures showing the part name and location. There is also a dial to override the timer which I don’t use, however it’s nice to have in case I ever want to. I don’t recall noticing hearing it, will update later if it’s different with this one. I use the timers year around with a small low watt light in the evening to always have a little light in the room.

This is a simple product that is easy to operate and lasts a long time. Nothing complicated here. Just keeps time with an on/off switch you set at the desired time.

Works like a gem!I had purchased one of these years ago and it lasted for over10 years. It just stopped working in the summer when I went to use it again for my air conditioner in an upstairs room. I tried another one from my local hardware store and it was too complicated. I like this better because it’s simple and the easiest I have ever used! Just put the green pin where you want it to turn on & put the red pin where you want it to turn off, and just set the time of day at Am or PM depending on what time it is when you set it up. That’s it! Works like a gem. I’m going to get another one soon for a backup even though they last for years. Hopefully they will continue to stay on the market.

Overall this works well. I use it for my Christmas tree. It is slightly loose in the outlet, but it doesn't fall out unless you bump it. It's pretty straightforward to set-up, which is good because there isn't much information in the instructions. As I understand it, the "on/off" switch at the top is for the automatic override. If you want it to simply follow the times you have set with the trippers, then the override feature should be "OFF". Allow 24 hours for it to run its cycle, and then it should follow the times you have set with the trippers. If you want to turn it on at a time when it would typically be off, then you can flip the switch at the top from "OFF" to "ON". My biggest complaint is that when setting the trippers, it's very easy to accidentally turn the dial. I found myself having to set the time several times because I kept bumping the dial. Overall, for the price, decent product.

I have used timers like this in the past and have had great luck with them. This one is the same! Super easy to use and very reliable! Would definitely recommend and buy again!

This is my favorite brand of timers. I use them all over the house because I like lights on even when I'm not home. My favorite feature is the little wheel that overrides the on/off function without changing the timer schedule.

Unfortunately missed returning this, only had it plugged in a couple hours yesterday and it got very hot, threw away so there was no chance of burning down my home while away.
Exactly what I was looking for
The newer ones in the stores do not compare to this product. They used to sell them exactly like this one but no longer do. Once I saw this online, it did not take me long to use it. Works absolutely perfectly!!
