A 5-mode preset EQ lets you adjust different audio channels. Finally, if you have a Bluetooth 3.0 device, you can play audio over A2DP and HFP protocols through this system. Unit is in my home office, never needed to turn it all the way up for listeningenjoyment.-- Equalizer is a nice surprise, I missed that feature before buying unit.-- Love that the CDs can be 'randomized'. My existing 5 disk player has the same feature & have enjoyed thatfeature for many years. Yes,...the platter is a little noisy when rotating the CDs, but it's no more noisy thanmy Sony player when changing CDs-- All vinyl has played through the end of a record and stopped at the end as stated. Some buyers have statedthe turntable doesn't play through to the end before it stops. That may be happening on extended playalbums (i.e. live performances). Someone stated the length the album plays might be set at the factory, so allregular length might be fine.

It plays vinyl records in 3 speeds, CDs, and tapes. The sound is good. The instruction booklet is in very small, light print which made it hard for me to figure out. The booklet kept telling you to dust the unit often. The cover for the record player is open on all four sides instead of being a closed like our old unit. I don’t care for that feature at all. The picture of the unit does not show the cover as being open. If I had known this I probably would not have purchased it. The other features though are fine.

Was excited for it to come in. Unboxed and everything looked great. Hooked it up, no problem. Started using it on the first day of receiving. Good sound although not very loud. But that was ok. After listening to cassettes for a few hours deck b ate a cassette. Untangled it, rewound it and put in deck a. Worked fine. Put back in deck b. ate it again. tried a different cassette in deck a worked fine. Put it in deck b ate it. Boxed it up and sent on ups truck. Still waiting for refund.

This is a fun throw back to my childhood/teenage years. I bought it for my 11 year old. He has had a blast playing records and recording mixed tapes.It actually sounds pretty good.There was damage to the box which went through and damaged the side of the unit causing the CD player not to work.The reseller said it wasn’t their problem because I had purchased 2 months earlier. I had bought at the end of October for a Christmas present so the damage wasn’t discovered until Christmas Eve.I called Jensen and they said they will replace if I send it in.Will update as to the outcome.

For such a compact unit, the sound is excellent. However, the remote for the cd player {my main interest} is as dead as a doornail, it does not work at all, even after brand new ,.batteries installed, which makes life miserable trying to operate the cd player.

I didn’t try the turntable because I have no need for it. Everything else works like it’s supposed to except for the tape recordings. Taping from any other source sucks upon playback. There is no recording volume level adjustment. Thus making all tape recordings sound distorted and too loud. Therefore this product is not good for recording. Otherwise, the cd, radio, Bluetooth and tape play are adequate for home use.An extra plus is that one can tape from a Bluetooth source, which step is not included in the instruction manual probably for copyright purposes.

The product arrived earlier than expected, which was great! It's a great unit for the value. The sound quality is very good. I was surprised by that because of all the negative reviews I had read. I only have positive things to say about the system. I love all of the features and the sleek look.
