Seems to agree with their digestive systems. Not sure if truly meets nutritional needs but don’t seem to harm them. Not meant for long chewing. I use these to give my dogs a little snack and teeth cleaning.

My 14 year old mini-dachshund is very picky when it comes to food, treats, & bones. He refused to eat any of the several hip & joint treats I’ve purchased in the past. Thankfully, he immediately began eating the smart bone treat & has had one everyday since. It hasn’t been long enough to determine any difference in his activity / behavior, so I’m not able to speak towards any noticeable changes, but at least he is eating these treats!

My dog liked them but no where near as good as the Pedigree Joint Sticks I used to buy. She has started to stiffen up already and I now have to find a good replacement for the Pedigree Joint Sticks. They were brilliant
