Of course, for those with calloused fingers, these thin lancets may not be sufficient.I found the price unbeatable compared to the name brand lancets that came with my original testing kit. These are solid replicas even down to the assorted colors that help add a little bit of brightness to the burden of testing.

My son is Type 1 Diabetic and these lancets are perfect. He's 8, but tall and thin so not a lot of surface area for pricking - he handles these much better than any others we have purchased!

I am new to lancets, and the 33 gauge was recomended to me by my dietitian. I have found that while I love all the colors these come in, I don't like how easily they bend when I'm trying to replace the circle cover on the sharp end. The price is amazing so if price is your biggest concern these will do the job, but I have found I prefer the lancets that have a cap on them because it's just faster and easier to clean up after I'm done testing. They fit in the Contour Next One lancet holder just fine. Still, despite the crazy good price I'd rather spend a tiny bit more for easier cleanup, I just don't want to have to worry about one falling out of the trash and poking my kids.
