Luckily, Hamilton Beach makes this thing. I was very skeptical at first, but my wife life the smokeless grill we bought from a local grocery store, and really wanted this one for a long time. So, we finally bought one.She won't stop using it. It does grill-quality cooking in short order, thanks to its hood. It also keeps splashing to a minimum, so it's a lot safer and more efficient. It has a pretty effective non-stick coating, but I'd definitely still recommend greasing it up to try and hang on to the sleek finish. It's not overly large, so you may need to plan accordingly for bigger cuts of meat. It also doesn't have an "off" setting, so once its plugged in, it's warming up. Still, it works, and the grill is dishwasher safe, which is extremely helpful for keeping it clean. Definitely recommend it!

I am a HUGE fan of QUALITY products and this indoor grill fits that bill. My Husband and I ENJOY having a GOOD steak or burger once in a while and we only "fire up" our VERY LARGE outdoor charcoal grill during the summer season. We have owned an indoor grill from a well known brand for years...However, it tends to "char" the food BEFORE it's fully cooked because it DOES NOT have a temperature control setting. This leads to "dryness" of the meat.Though, I liked that our OLD grill had removable plates that I could clean in the dishwasher, the fact that I could NOT control the temperature always bothered me because of the way our food would cook. It would also trap grease in hard to reach places and drip down under the removable plates and burn the surface. Furthermore, it didn't have quite enough cooking space for our needs.So, when I decided to UPGRADE a few of our kitchen appliances, a new indoor grill was at the TOP of the list. I searched Bolo for indoor grills that had the features that I wanted and needed and I came across this Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Grill. It boasted ALL of the features that I was looking for. For one, it's stainless steel, it also has a temperature control setting, sizable and removable grill plate that's dishwasher safe AND a glass viewing window!! Also, the lid is an actual lid and does NOT come in contact with our food.I love that the lid is also removable, however, I wish the lid was dishwasher safe...But, unfortunately it is NOT. The drip pan is more of a "drip drawer," which I absolutely LOVE because I no longer have to worry about grease drippings on the counter. It is also dishwasher safe. The base of the unit is VERY EASY to wipe clean, which is another plus.So far, I have only grilled burgers on this grill. They were the BEST burgers that we've ever had using an indoor grill!! My Husband referenced how JUICY the burgers were, which I noticed and APPRECIATED as well. The burgers were cooked to PERFECTION with AMAZING grill marks, without being charred and dried out. I can easily fit 6 [1/3 pound] burgers on here, instead of only 2 at a time.I would HIGHLY recommend this item to anyone looking for a QUALITY indoor grill. Just keep in mind that the removable lid is NOT dishwasher safe, so you will have to clean it by hand. However, the lid is EASY to clean with hot soapy water. Also, be sure to check dimensions because this is a nice-sized grill and takes up a decent amount of counter space. The pros DEFINITELY outweigh the cons or should I say "con" with this item.Thank you, Bolo for another QUALITY item for our kitchen!!

I researched and read many reviews on indoor electric grills. This one i am very happy with quality of it. The adjustable temp is the best option and works great. The cooking grill made those great looking lines on the food and cooking is very even. Cleanup is easy as the parts come out easily and the grill is coated.

This grill is easy to use and heats up quickly. Food cooks evenly. I like that the drip tray is under the grill plate and is removal for easy cleaning. I gave the grill 4 stars because even though the grill plate is removal it is not easy to clean. The grill plate is slotted which allows for fat to drip into the drip tray but also allows for food to stick on the side of the slots. The last time I used it I sprayed it with cooking spray, even though the plate is supposed to be nonstick. That may have helped a little, next time I’ll do a better cook spraying between the slots and see if that helps with clean up. I’m also going to order an OXO electric grill brush to see if it makes cleaning easier.

I am so happy I bought this. It works very well, also easy to assemble and to break down for cleaning. Can't yet speak for it's longevity, but I hope it lasts a long time.I actually just got it today (as of this writing). I ordered it to replace a different electric grill that I had, which wasn't very reliable and took up a lot of space in my kitchen.This one is a much more convenient size, nice and compact, all one piece while assembled. That being said I might not recommend this one if you are using it to cook for a large family. For that you would want a larger grill, but for a small family this is just right.It cooks very well, grilled my chicken to perfection on the first attempt! That's impressive.Nicely done, Hamilton Beach :)

Best thing next to an outdoor grill! I live in an apartment and I was using my good old cast iron skillet with the ridges for my burgers, chicken, etc., but it's a pain to clean up (yes, I do use soap and soak it, then scrub it, then oil it) - it's tedious. I bought this little grill and I am soooooo happy with it! I made a burger last night that turned out awesome, I even toasted the burger bun next to it and tonight I threw a seasoned chicken breast on it following the directions for time and again it came out awesome! I can't wait to do chicken and veggie kabobs. It smoked a little at first so I turned on my stove fan but after that it was very minimal. The clean up was easy and I don't even have a dishwasher - I used my little scrubber brush and left everything to air dry. It's so easy to put together and take apart. I used a clean cloth to clean the inside and outside that had a little residue on it and that was it! Love it!

This was well worth the wait. They out of stock so quick and I had to wait about 3 weeks but in so glad I bought it. It cleans so great and easy! And it has a seer temperature point and it does fantastic! It seers/chars my steaks just like I like it! I would recommend to everyone!!

Me gusto mucho me facilita mucho la vida, al monto de la comida y sin aceite y no hace mucho cochambre
Bueno pero no como el asador exterior
Es como una parrilla eléctrica convencional realmente. Quise hacer un corte de rib eye de 1 pulgada de grueso y si los coció bien pero por ejemplo el gordito queda poco cocido y no lo hace chicharrón. Puse elotes amarillos y los tuve que sacar y meter a mi freidora de aire pues iba muy lento todo y eso que lo tenía en SEAR que es la temperatura más alta. No tiene sabor tipo asador (ahumado). Quizá sea buena opción para carnes delgadas y algunos vegetales pero no para una parrillada tradicional. Las salchichas quedaron crudas aunque por fuera parecían súper cocidas. Lo bueno es que no genera humo para nada y la limpieza es fácil.Si lo que buscas es una experiencia tipo asador con la venataja de ser dentro de casa así como lo anuncian, NO lo recomiendo.

Well, I'm sold!I was cooking my dinner within 10 minutes of unpacking this!I had everything prepped and ready-to-go, I was waiting for the Bolo driver to show up, SOOOOO hungry but darn it, I was so excited to use my new grill!Then, IT happened! The buzzer rang!"HE'S HERE!" I yelled to no one...I tore that box open, I got a paper cut, but screw it, let the blood flow! I was hungry!I washed my new grill. I made sure she was clean and shiny. She was.She's so easy to put together. Only 4 pieces and they all go together like they were made for each other! Wait...I plugged her in. I turned the dial. I got the chicken out of the fridge. I got the veggie skewers out. All was perfect. The brown and wild rice pilaf was cooking in the air fryer. Life was beautiful.Then, I heard it. A quiet little "click". No, not really a "click", more of a "clunk", I guess. That's okay, it was the sound of my grill being READY. She was heated up.I got the tongs. I got the first piece of marinated, de-boned chicken thigh. I placed it gently on the grill. "SIZZLE!" it shrieked to me. "Ssshhhhh" I said gently. "It's okay. This is how it's supposed to be."The chicken responded by quieting down and welcoming the second piece, which also gave a little vocalization of hesitant fear, or was it delight? I like to think it was delight. Yes. Sweet, gentle delight.After letting them relax and bask in their juicy, tasty, juicy-tastiness for a while, I then added their new friends, the veggie skewers. Ah, yes. The skewers. No, no, the skewers were not for eating! The skewers were the mere presenters of the beautiful vegetables impaled upon them.The peppers, both red and green, the mushrooms, peeled lovingly, the onion layers, the carrot slices, the celery pieces, the garlic grated over this beauty and drizzled with olive oil, then lightly dusted with salt and pepper. My God, what a meal.But the grill! How did it do? You're thinking, this woman has had too much to drink! Ah, but no.This is just a really good grill. You should buy one. Everything cooked perfectly. Browned nicely. No smoking!
