The 1 in. 720A Pressure Vacuum Breaker Assembly protects against backsiphonage in high health hazard, non-potable residential and commercial irrigation applications. The 720A includes an approved check valve, vacuum relief, two test cocks, and inlet and outlet full port resilient seated shut-off valves. It also features a maximum pressure of 150 psi and a temperature range of 33°F to 110°F. The corrosion-resistant internal parts and all bronze bonnet and body construction provides added strength and protection against light freezes, while the tapped ball valves allow for easy installation in any position.

I am surprised this has a frequently returned tag , I took a chance and ordered it . It came out great was able to install it and test it. Openers are tight but it is perfect.

Did what it was supposed to.Unfortunately, I found out that even though I was installing the vacuum breaker on my irrigation system, my municipality requires that the device meet low lead requirements for potable water systems since I was tapping into their drinking water system.Ended up replacing with a substantially more expensive "Low-Lead Law Compliant" Wilkins/Zurn 1-760XL.Fortunately I had ordered the 1-720A on Bolo and was able to return in hassle free for a full refund.

Solid, heavy, the real deal.It's more economical to buy 1" and then 1" to 3/4" PVC adapters than to buy the 3/4" version of the vacuum breaker.I decided against paying 50% more for a frost-safe model because in either case they both should connected with unions to the sprinkler system, and disconnected and stored indoors during winter.
