The dealership wanted to charge me 50 dollars for changing the filter and labor. You could buy this filter for around 18-20 dollars on Bolo. I have the 2016 Mazda 3 and the process to change was relatively easy. I am not mechanic and am honestly not too good with cars. I don't even do my own oil changes but switching the air filter was pretty simple. I recommend googling your model year and make on YouTube and that will help you out quite a bit.Quality:This filter is made in Japan and is shown on the package and as advertised. The filter is heavy and sturdy. It looks just like the original one that I had in my car but just much cleaner as that one needed replacement. I really enjoy how this filter makes it easy to know which side is up and which side is down. Otherwise your air filter won't fit correctly into the vehicle.Installation:The process was simple as there were 2 clips that I had to flip up and then wiggle the cover off in order to take out the old filter. I had a little trouble taking the cover off but it was still no more than a 10 minute process. One opened up, I just pulled the old filter out and slid the new one in. Then you had to make sure the casing is back on and flip back down the two clips. It was a simple process and saved me 30+ dollars compared to telling dealership to change for me.Overall, I recommend doing this even if you don't work on cars. It is easy to do and it doesn't take a lot of time. Maybe with the 30 dollars you saved you can go eat quite a great meal!

This fits my 2020 Mazda CX5 perfectly. I watched a video on how to install since the dealership wanted over $60 for the part and installation. I found it very easy once I got the hood opened! Had to figure that one out too! Save yourself a few bucks and try it!

What can I say? The genuine Mazda filter is great quality and good protection for your engine. Select a dealer like Toyota of North Miami to be sure to get a genuine Mazda part though.

This filter fits my 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback- iTouring model- with the SkyActiv engine. It's confusing as the 2013 Mazda 3 had some engines that apparently weren't the SkyActiv and a previously purchased filter didn't fit and the seller was difficult about returns. Installation is super easy for this, I saved 50 dollars DIY. I generally use OEM when maintaining my Japanese autos.

Mazada wanted $50 to replace. Perfect fit and easy to do. Takes about 10 minutes to replace it yourself and cheaper than the dealer.
