The flavor is on the subtler side, satisfyingly sweet without feeling like you're biting into a bar of sugar.I'm not entirely sold on the texture...it's chewy, but doesn't have a lot of give, so it feels like it requires a lot more chewing than, say, a Quaker Granola Bar. That isn't a dealbreaker, it just feels a bit more like you're chewing on raw oats.Taking that into account, as well as the calorie count (140), I wouldn't say it's the BEST option, as there are plenty of 100 calorie or less bars readily available, but I was still satisfied with this product and would keep it in consideration. I think I would've liked more vanilla chips...it's a a relatively novelty flavor, compared to the far more common chocolate chip, so a bar that really pushed the flavor would've genuinely sold it for me.
