Bought this to replace the same battery that I bought 10 years ago. OEM battery for a Honda Rancher. Highly recommend, easy to activate and very long lasting!

Perfect fit on my 2004 and 2005 Aprilia Tuonos. After having issues with Li-Po lightweight batteries from Shorai and Noco lasting very long, I decided to switch back to good old lead acid batteries. Much more reliable and easier to keep charged on the tender.

The biggest question I usually ask myself when purchasing batteries is how long ago it was filled with the electrolyte. At least this battery removes this question to a certain degree since it comes dry. My understanding that the shelf life of a dry battery is significantly longer compared to an activated one.All instruction were written clear but you need to reserve at least half day do perform all recommended procedures including the initial charge cycle.The battery performs well for two months since the installation. Will try to update on longevity later.The battery is an exact replacement of the battery installed in KTM Super Duke 1290 from 2014.I gave it 4 stars since the picture shows the battery made in USA. IT IS NOT.

So far so good. It is the exact original equipment battery per their part number. But for some mystical reason, Yuasa replacement batteries never seem to last quite as long as the exact same original OEM Yausa battery. Over the years, I've gotten as much as 8-9 years out of an original Yausa, and typically only 5 years out of a replacement, both in the same bike and maintained exactly the same. So we'll see.

The battery didn't fit me, it was larger than I needed, but after making a return, I can return it via USPS or UPS. UPS asked for more than $40 for the return. And USPS asked for more than $38. There is no connection with the seller. He doesn't respond to my messages, so I can't return this product because I don't know if I will get my money back. Because the seller doesn't respond.

The best AGM battery.
Yuasa is the leader in powersports batteries, that's why all good manufactures use them. Problems will arise if the battery is not prepared correctly, allow 1-2 hours for the acid to be fully absorbed before installing the sealing strip and charge it immediately with a high quality initializing charger, follow the instruction in the supplied booklet. Most AGM batteries fail because they don't get used during storage, AGM batteries don't like to sit uncharged, as the voltage drops, sulfation occurs and the internal resistance increases, this may or may not be corrected with a desulfating charger and damage will always be done due to discharging AGM batteries, therefor you must keep a high quality charger on your battery with a good storage program at all times, I use an Optimate 6, my batteries always last over 10 years, they MUST be kept fully charged at ALL times. Don't blame the battery, it the user that causes failures.
