I like these lancets the best of any I've tried. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are bigger than the others and I can't get as many in my meter pouch. But I suppose to make them as they are, they have to be that size. They practically don't hurt at all to use, and are easier to activate. I will probably deal with the size and continue to order them.

I don’t like the lancet pen that comes with the your glucose meters because the force of the trigger pokes harder. We use these at work and I decided to try them for myself and these are more gentle, compact and easy to use. Plies the needle disappeares into the lancet after use. Overall a great item for finger sticks, safe and affordable

I just received them. I use 2 every day to monitor my blood sugar and order a supply every 40=50 days

Best thing is its what I call point and shoot. New to this and tried several, the ones that have to be loaded before shooting were discarded as a needless extra step and had to push pretty hard. My negative with this one is you push down into the finger to discharge the pin and have to push with enough force to push down on the finger which causes a pretty good impact. Put it this way, I knew I had been pricked. I much prefer the life scan soft touch as when you push you can control the pressure on the finger so it can be very minimal and when you push the release it does not force the end deeper into the flesh, hence into your finger. Noticeable difference in the feeling between the two. With this one you know you have been pricked with the soft touch it is way more than half the impact.
