I use mine indoors, but the construction I am sure would last a long time even exposed to the elements. The construction is solid. The shopper should keep in mind this table is both folding and adjustable (to three heights), so is not as stable as a good, costly, fixed-leg table. That said, it is more stable than I expected. I can lean on it heavily on my elbows and there is no sound or "give" at all. It has a good nylon handle so you can carry it easily when folded up. The surface texture is very slight indeed and quite nice, in my opinion.A few of the reviews mention trouble with setup. I did not have any trouble. So here is my story of one-person, easy setup: It does at first seem impossible for one person, because each leg has a height-release button and the legs are two feet apart from each other, and you have to pull upward at the same time (using your third hand, naturally). It is like the classic nuclear missile launcher, requiring two soldiers across the room from each other to turn two keys simultaneously to fire the missile. Anyhow, my solution is intuitive - you will not need this review on hand when you receive your table:Unfold table fully ("click") on its back. Unfold each pair of legs fully. You may have to push each diagonal piece firmly to get them to lock in place ("click" x 4). Now pull gently upward on the crossbar connecting two of the legs. Press the release button of either leg. That leg will shift upward 1/32nd of an inch and stop (because the other leg is not released). Then press the other leg's button, all the while pulling upward gently on the crossbar. This releases the other leg on that side, and you are good to go. Repeat the process with the other two legs. If you want the table in its tallest position, do this a second time on each side. The legs slid very easily and set quite firmly for me. I did not read any instructions and setup took far less time than writing this story about it did. Happy shopping.

The VonHaus 4 ft. Folding Table with adjustable legs is everything I hoped it would be and more. Unfolded it is a 4" ft. wide by 2 ft. deep substantial, sturdy, very well made, perfectly flat table. Folded up it is a neat product to carry. And the adjustable legs are a great addition, because you can make it almost any height you need to work comfortably. My only concern about it is that because it is so well made it is a bit heavy, But not too much though.My problem is that I ordered it to put in our motorhome as a workspace for my computer (bill paying, etc.), and anything else I'd need it for because the motorhome has everything we need to live comfortably - except a desk. In this case, storage for the table is behind one of the couches, so being a little bit heavy, and me being quite a bit old, it is a little difficult. That's why I keep my husband around though, he's my go-to guy for help there, (kind of kidding). Anyway, this table is exactly what I was hoping for, - it's that and more. I highly recommend it!

Received in timely manner. It was shipped in a very dirty plastic bag in which the dirt was rubbed into the white plastic. I cleaned most of the dirt off. There was a fault on the top of the table near the edge but I decided that I would test out the mechanizims to see if they worked as advertised . The legs extended and telescoped out perfectly and quickly. Handle worked well. My chairs fit up to the table perfectly for eating or game playing. The table is very sturdy as well. I'm keeping the table as the flaw will not affect functionality. I can only give it 4 stars because of the dirt and the small flaw. This is a great table for the money.

Great table for camping. You can adjust it to working level or use it as a dining table. Does double duty around the house or anywhere you need an extra table. Folds up flat and easy to carry. Very sturdy frame and of course easy to clean top - one thing to watch out for if you camp is that the top can be dented, so try not to bang around or drop on rocks.

These tables are decent size etc and build quality. I gave the 3 stars because they are a real pain to pull the legs out. They have push buttons to pull the legs out and the way they designed it, you really cannot do it by yourself. You have to have a second person to pull t out, which is silly.

This is a very sturdy well built table. I was looking for a compact, solid, portable table for around the camp site and this table is just what I was looking for. I would definitely buy this product again and would recommend it to anyone that needs a small adjustable table. This table met all my expectations and is everything they said it is. The table sets up quickly and easily and take down is just as easy.
