I have allergies to many perfumes and colognes so when I first bought this soap over a year ago a Walmart and discovered that it only has a mild clean, soapy, barbershop type of smell I liked it. Then when I saw how well it lubricates my beard for a very pleasant shave I loved it!Recently I bought a box of what I thought was the same, but had accidentally gotten Van Der Hagen's "scented luxury" soap, I went ahead and tried it. It's scented was irritating to my allergies, it didn't lather as good as this "Deluxe" soap in my opinion, and was not as lubricating either. So I came here to Bolo and ordered this deal of "Deluxe" shave soap that I like very much.

I've used several of the Van der Hagen shave soaps; the deluxe has a pleasant, understated fragrance, excellent lather. All their soaps are long lasting, I've found.

Don’t waste your time with other shave soaps, this is the best. Ladies you can shave your legs with it too, and it’s great for traveling as it won’t leak. I hope they continue making this product forever, I’ve used it for years and want to continue doing so.
