I can easily mark through sawdust and dirt and still see my lines. The tip wears out a little quick and loses its pointiness but, that's ok. Has stayed wet and kept ink for a few months, now. No overwhelming scent or anything. Just a good tool to keep in the bag.

5 stars. I've used these for work, they're better than sharpies. They can write in almost an type of environment. Dusty surfaces, paper, etc. I used it for work almost every day they're the best. Better than sharpie. The only thing I would say is sometimes the red plastic disconnects when you remove the pen cap and the whole marker comes undone. If Milwaukee can resolve this small issue then I haven't encountered no issues with these markers. At a dollar a pop it's a good value for money they last months and years.

These are absolutely incredible markers. Amazing job here Milwaukie! These things have lasted me through, like, half a dozen tile and laminate jobs. They are simply incredible. I hate grease pens but before finding these, couldn't find a marker that wouldn't just wash away when the water from the tile saw hit it. These mark on tile really well and won't wash away. They aren't permanent, and the mark can be rubbed away with a good scrubbing from a washcloth, or easily using magic erasers. As advertised, they continue to work even after marking through dirt and sawdust. The points have dulled slightly, but honestly, after half a dozen flooring jobs, they are still sharper than I would otherwise have believed. I honestly feel a little guilty they have lasted me so long. Probably need to buy another pack just to encourage Milwaukie to keep making them.

Works on wet and oily surfaces as a plumber I need something that will work in mud water oil and such I might be in a whole or attic under a floor and theses never let me down and last a long time

I use permanent markers constantly for work as an electrician, these Milwaukee markers are hands-down the best I’ve found. The tips are strong and don’t mash down like cheaper brands. They write clearly on dusty, oily, and rough surfaces like wood, metal, plastic, even wet materials.What I really love is the built-in clip and the quick-drying ink. I can throw it in my pocket or clip it to my hat, and it’s always ready to go. Plus, it doesn’t dry out too fast if you leave the cap off for a bitIf you need a marker that can keep up with tough jobs and rough handling, Milwaukee nailed it. Definitely a five-star product and definitely a great price!

Nice fine line and permanent!
Usually I use sharpies but after I had used these the sharpies are now redundant! Nice tight tip which draws a fine line on wood, metal, but if you need a more accurate measurement best stick to scribers. I've used them on both metal and wood, and for the jobs I did they were more than close enough to make my cuts along. As with any marker, it's a case of either cutting to the outside, on or inside the line, double checking the measurement is paramount so when you've marked the line you have an idea as to which side of the line to cut. With light pressure they produce a fine line, more than enough for door fitting, countertop fitting etc. Overall a light, permanent marker that works better than a sharpie.
