I got this because Mom wants to listen to audiobooks. I found my three old disc players and it appeared that time waged their war and none wanted to work. We weren't looking for a super-spiffy replacement since it wasn't going to be used in car rides or while jogging. So far it is working great, the sound quality is good, it comes with wired earbuds for listening. My only pullback from a full 5-star is that I didn't realize the button design is, well, the only "color" to the whole machine is the one "silver" design on the top. The buttons, everything, are all black. Problem being is that if you are in any lower lighting, or you have slight vision issues, it is hard to tell which button is which. Other than the eject and play buttons they are at their respective "end of the row". I had to get a silver Sharpie marker to "color in" the symbols on each button so that each button could be identified. If you are good at fast memorization, it is no biggie. But until you do remember the 3rd button from left is, what again?... some contrasting color like matching the silver design on the top would be helpful.Otherwise, it is great :)

This little guy sucks butt cuz when I searched anti skip cd players. Cuz I just can’t stand how every time I walk over sticks or rocks or jump it skips to the last point I was just at. definitely would not recommend this little player. Unless you like buffering cd players I don’t.

It’s a fine CD player for the price but it’s cheaply made. You have to literally leave it flat and don’t move too much while you’re playing it for it not to skip. I have already broken the battery flap door. Oh and it seems to run through batteries very quickly so I would recommend taking them out when you’re not using it.

At first I was unhappy with this item because I thought it didn't work. I was also on the fence of returning it because it was battery powered. Then I thought about portability and not needing a cable to be connected to a power source. Plus, I have gotten into rechargeable batteries and came to realize batteries will be a fine after thinking about it.Be sure you take the cardboard stopper that holds the spinner in place before you put your first CD in to play! I didn't and got frustrated thinking it didn't work. My bad. Once I removed this everything worked fine.I am using this unit as a source and connecting to speakers. This only comes with very basic wired headphones. No audio cable. Hopefully you have an extra 1/8" audio cable laying around if you want to anything. Won't test headphones because I will not use.It costs $10 so the build quality is typical for this price range. I am giving a 4 only because I wish it had a line out since the headphone out isn't as powerful as I would like. I believe it will serve my purposes. As long a I don't drop it, it should last a while.

So far so good it reads all my cds even the ones I made myself and some that don’t usually play on other systems (vehicles or Sony players).Battery life is awful even copper top batteries run fast maybe 3CDs per set of batteries.Skips if you hit the table or surface but it recovers pretty well.No complaints as long as you understand that you’re ordering a very basic cd player. I would NOT put this in a car unless it’s going to ride on the passenger seat for maximum stability.Note: I do not subscribe to Bolo Prime scam service which has forcibly slowed shipments for everyone else and delivered pathetic tiered systems treating customers as second class. I also do not receive free items from the cheerleading club called Vine.

Really upset. Pops and stops. Checked battery and cd and change them but still doesn't work. Daughter is so until as it was a gift.
