The KBETHOS The Real Original Fitted Flat-Bill Hat nearly hits the mark for me. I usually wear a size 7 5/8, and with a shaved or very short haircut, it fits comfortably. However, if I let my hair grow out, it feels a bit too snug for comfort. Since I prefer keeping my hair short, this hasn't been a major issue, and overall, it's been a great purchase. The hat has lasted well over time, proving to be a good value for the price.

THE VERDICT: For anyone who doesn't want to read the full review, I previously owned only New Era 59Fifty hats. This version by KBETHOS runs true-to-size, is well-priced and of good quality. I would consider KBETHOS my go-to bargain flat-bill.SIZING: Very accurate - I wear a 7 3/8 in 59Fifty. I ordered a 7 3/8 and a 7 1/2 in the KBETHOS to check for size accuracy. The 7 3/8 was exactly right and the 7 1/2 just slightly too large.COST: I think the price speaks for itself, but this was considerably less expensive than other well-known brands. Even among bargain brands, it is still priced competitively.QUALITY: I have had this hat for about a month now and have used it regularly, almost daily. The bill remains flat, the hat has held it's shape up front (the front half is stiffer than the back half), and the color (black) has not faded at all. While the fabric itself is perhaps a bit rougher than my more expensive caps, the difference is more than offset by the price. I have only bought this cap in black, but the variety of available colors is fantastic.COMPARISONS: In looking for a non-59Fifty, I also looked at flat-bills by PitBull and the Flexfit Premium 210. Aesthetically, I found the PitBull to have a wider/flatter front, slightly larger sizing, and a coarser fabric. The Flexfit Premium looked great in terms of shape and fabric, but the categorical sizing limits customization and I found the Large/X-large to be slightly too tight for my personal comfort.

That custom fit, for an exceptional price
Fits great. As soon as I opened the package and put it on I ordered 2 more. I’ve been trying to find a hat like this for awhile. Personally I don’t like flexfit hats, my head is just too big and I end up wearing out the band and then those hats just feel sloppy.Before I got this, my favourite brands were Grassroots California, and the New era 59fifty hats. They’re both still great, just harder to find, and more expensive. This Kbethos hat is a lot cheaper, but still really well constructed. You’re not going to get the cool designs you get with grassroots, but that’s ok. And to find a plain black new era hat is harder that finding one with a team logo (because I’m just not that into sports.)From what I can find on Bolo, this is the only brand that goes up to 8,1/4” so that’s a big thumbs up for me, because that’s where I’m at. If you’re looking for a new fitted hat, I’d recommend this one.
