Cooks up very nicely!

Price is a little better then some stores by about two dollars so I bought it on here. Risotto is usually made by sauteing the rice and some garlic or onion, then adding a dry white wine or veggie broth(or chicken or veal broth if you are not vegan like me) and stirring it for a long time (up to 40 minutes) while adding the liquid each time it dries up a bit. Some people just add lemon juice instead. Add Veggies or Meat and at the end, right before it is done you can add some parm and fresh parsley or basil. You know it is done when the rice is fully cooked but not mushey, almost al dente but dissolves nicely in the mouth with a creamy texture.

I cook this in my rice cooker. My 6 cup rice cooker. I prefer it in the smaller cooker. It has a wonderful nutty taste, and it gets very tender. It’s not hard like some of the basmati rices. I have some brown basmati that I bought and it takes forever to cook and it still doesn’t taste done. This has a wonderful unique flavor and even though it’s expensive, it’s worth it. I just hope the price does not go up with the impending tariffs on our country

A good cross between brown and basmati rice. It still takes a little longer to cook through than regular rice (especially white); however, it's worth the wait. The aroma is wonderful and the taste is also! The consistency is good; I always add a touch more water and some olive oil to alleviate stickiness. Great value, too!
