5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Product With The Essentials in Beard Oils

As someone who truly enjoys both beards and grooming (I'm always trying different grooming products), I can say that this is a high quality product, and very much so worth every dollar. If you're growing a beard, it's very important to keep it healthy. One of those things you can do is use a high quality beard oil. There are tons of beard oils on the market, especially as of recently with the growing trend. This can make it difficult in choosing an oil to start with (I have a couple different ones myself for different occasions). This oil blend is a wonderful place to start as it's a blend of two of the best oils you can use for your hair, and doesn't have anything else in it.This item has no added fragrance to it other than the natural smell of the oils. This oil blend has a slightly sweet, light smell to it. It is not overwhelming and after a few minutes you won't notice it at all. If you're looking for a product that is one of the best currently available, this is it. It will help keep your hair soft and manageable. I am someone with an extremely curly, coarse beard that feels like steel wool if I don't care for it properly, and this product helps keep it soft. Start with this if you're new to beard oils.**For best results (my personal opinion)**1. Take a shower. Once or twice a week, condition your beard in the shower with coconut oil (if you search "coconut oil" in all departments on Bolo, the top product is what I use). Also, buy a dedicated beard soap that you use once a week only (no need to use it more, a thorough wash with warm water will keep your beard clean and the soap will remove some of the oils that keep the beard healthy). I use one sold by Brooklyn Grooming, although a little pricier it lasts forever especially since you're only using it once a week (lather just a tiny amount in hands and then apply to beard, never lather your beard with the soap bar itself).2. After shower, towel dry your hair and beard. First, use two drops of this beard oil and apply to your hair (yes, on top of your head) and massage in thoroughly. Beard oil also helps keep your head hair healthy and conditioned, I promise it'll be softer than ever before. After that, use ~3 drops of oil and apply to your beard. Massage in thoroughly, starting at the front and working your way down, and then running your fingers up from behind. After you've applied the oil, it is VERY HELPFUL if you use a natural boar's hair brush. I promise you it will make a difference. First, brush your head hair, and then thoroughly brush your beard. A boar's hair brush will build up oils over time from your hair and beard, and help spread the oils evenly across your hair and beard. It also helps keep your hair clean, so in between use of the beard soap it's not anything to worry about.3. Do your best not to touch your beard too often throughout the day. Feel free to use a touch up brushing or combing if needed. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars and I will say I worked awesome. I was able to let my beard grow ...

I've tried to grow beards in the past, but once it got to a certain length it became to itchy. I decided to give this beard oil a try, and I will say I worked awesome. I was able to let my beard grow out and never had an itchy period of time with it. It gave my beard a nice sheen, and I loved that it has a dropper cap.Once I had finished with the bottle I felt I needed to give other products a try. The first one I tried after this Beard Oil was a beard balm, Honest Amish, which I also have good results with. But the oil is much less messy and easier to apply. So after I finished that product, I thought I would try another beard oil - I decided to give a name brand oil a try, Golddachs. I'm currently using that product which I paid three times as much for, because I wanted to see the comparison. So far, I'm disappointed. The packaging of Golddachs is a similar bottle, but without the eye dropper. Making it difficult to get just a few drops out. The results of the Golddachs product are a bit disappointing - I'd say it kind of works. Looking at the ingredients - seems I paid about $35 for 0.66 ml of Grape seed oil. Maybe next time I'll go to the kitchen? So comparisons:* Between Leven Rose Beard Oil, and the Honest Amish Beard Balm, I would go with the Leven Rose Beard Oil. It's easier and quicker to apply than Balm and the results were very similar. Also with the Beard Balm, I felt like my hair was more greasy/oily through the day.* Between Leven Rose Beard Oil, and the Golddachs Beard Oil, I would go with Leven Rose Beard Oil by far. Leven Rose Beard Oil was a much better product in my opinion. My beard was softer the skin underneath never dried or itchy. Also the bottle with Leven Rose has a eye dropper which made it easier to get just a few drops. And of course the price difference!I'm going to finish this little bottle of Golddachs - I hate wasting it, but I'll be back to Leven Rose as soon as it's done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good 1st time beard oil. Very light to no scent.

I enjoy using this beard oil, so far. I do not have experience using any other oils at this time, but this one meets my expectations.Pros:1. I really like that this is unscented. If you really smell it, there is a scent, but it is not strong by any means, nor will you smell it all day.2. It's a pretty big bottle size for the price and has lasted quite a while. I use it almost daily. Sometimes twice a day.3. It helps prevent dry beard flakes4. If used consistently, it helps to prevent itching as much.5. I do notice a softer beard throughout the day (so does my wife).Cons:1. Seems like I need to use more than expected (I usually use 7-8 drops and I do not have a long beard by any means).2. Pretty basic oil (which has been just fine so far).I have enjoyed using this as my 1st beard oil. I will finish this bottle, but I am going to try a different blend next time around to have something else to compare it to.Edit: After now using other brands and recipes of beard oil/balms, I can say that this is still a good introduction to beard oils. I have now used others with more extensive ingredients than just argon and jojoba oil and they do seem to hydrate a bit better as well as help tame my beard. But, they also all include these two ingredients, so they are a good base combination to start off with, for a cheap price. Please let me know if this review is helpful. Thank you.
