Thanks to this valve I was able to service my refrigerator and get it running. Time will tell how much additional life I get from the refrigerator, but this valve does its job well.

I likes that it was quick and easy to setup and install....the only problem is that this is a temporary fix...its notbmade for long term use...you eventually need to either weld a valve on or just crimp the line....but it is convenient for a quick fix...I do like it and will probably buy a few more for that just incase moment

WORTHLESS.First of all, it wouldn't puncture the copper line on my fridge- I had to shove the Allen wrench into the connection and hit it with a hammer for it to penetrate. Then, it wouldn't seal on the sides, despite me torqueing the bolts down as tight as they'd go, resulting in `r134a leaking to atmosphere. Finally, the "closed" state of this valve is with the needle valve pushed IN. I.e., EXACTLY what happens when you connect a hose to evacuate the refrigerent.

Repaired small refrigerator. Freon had leaked out and most refrigerators have no charging ports for 134-A refrigerant on the back. Just simply clamp this on the line and charge away and appliance including window units. Repaired two smaller refrigerators with these already.
