Nice looking brush, it has a nice weight not to light, the bristles are excellent quality, they're not to stiff but make a nice lather overall a nice brush

have had the brush for a year and use it 4 times a week. It is well balanced and I like the heavy base. It sheds occasionally which I have found to be typical with all the brushes I have had. The badger hair is long and is to long for my preference. When the long hair is full of cream it sloshes all over my fave with little control. I truly enjoy this brush and will buy another.

legit stone and medal handle. Was very please with quality and feel, by far the best shave brush I've tested out. When I first got it a few of the bristles still fell out and every once in awhile I'll find one on my face but way less than I've found with my last brush.

I'm still fairly new to the safety razor shaving routine, but I previously picked up a "Perfecto" brush under the assumption that it would be good enough to get the job done (and hey, the list price was $49.99 but it was on sale for $10.99 so that seemed like a good deal [what a scam]), and boy was I ever wrong. Sure it worked, technically—I could load my soap into the brush and lather it and more-or-less it would transfer from the brush to my face, but when I was getting into the safety razor shaving routine, part of my reasoning was to get away from the cheap-quality products that heralded themselves as standards, yet had to be replaced every few months. I realized I would inevitably have to replace that cheap brush every few months, and the overall quality just felt extremely cheap, so I opted for this beautiful brush.The first thing you'll notice (or the first thing I noticed, coming from a cheap brush) is the weight. It actually feels like you're holding something of quality, and you most certainly are. The white marble handle contrasting with the black badger brush just looks fantastic. I read a few things about people noticing an odor from this brush, but I didn't experience this. After running through the routine to speed up the break-in process—soaking the brush for 10 minutes, lathering it up, letting it dry overnight, then rinsing it out with warm water and drying it thoroughly—I noticed another big difference between this brush and the Perfecto brush; the hairs don't fall out. While with the Perfecto brush I didn't know any better, and I thought maybe the hairs falling out was normal or part of the break-in process of the first 15 shaves, I don't think I've seen a single hair fall out of this brush yet. Immediately that means this $34 brush will last quite a bit longer than the $10.99 brush would have, if I'd kept it long enough to find out. Sure, it's 3x the price, but it's 10x the quality. One of those instances where you can keep buying a cheap product for a few bucks or you can buy one quality product for a bit more.This brush feels like an ode to the days when products were high quality and would last more than a few years. If you're switching to safety razor shaving, it's likely because you're tired of the cheap products you have to throw away, made of plastic or who-knows-what, along with simply wanting a better shave. I've read there are some brushes out there that are well over $100, and while I can't justify that yet, I know this brush is perfect for me, and if you'd told me a month ago that I could love a shaving brush so much I'd say you were bonkers.

This is a high quality shaving brush on the level of much more expensive brushes. I have used a shaving brush for 15+ years and this is one of the best for the money I have purchased. Great materials went into making the brush.

as described, but prickly.update: 9.10.2018I'm upgrading this to 5 stars from 4.I've used it every day and it has held up well.very close to new.firm brush hairs have only lost maybe 2 dozen hairs in the last 2-1/2 years.I have a stand that keeps the brush hairs pointed down.It stays in the shower continuously since I bought it.----the brush is dense, firm which I wanted, but the side not mentioned or I missed it, is that the hairs are like stiff paintbrush bristles.so in use they stab the face causing discomfort.not so much that I'll stop using it, but was unexpected.I don't consider this negative as anything the manufacture was hiding per se, it's not something I thought about when looking for a firmer brush.I now assume that is what is meant by this brush being made of the 'black' hairs.the quality of the build is excellent.I keep it in the shower, so the wooden handled brushes would not be able to take the constant dampness.also to note, in my stand : Chrome Curved Safety Razor and Shaving Brush Stand from Super Safety Razorsone can not store it bristle up, which is not the best anyways, as the smooth marble will allow the brush to easily flop over, ie rotate.bristles down will work, but the fan of hairs contacts the curved stand, which I will need to allow it to do.it also looks like one can use that stand with bristles down if the brush is inserted where the bristles meet the marble handle.again nothing to do with the brush, just an internal conversation I seem to be having with myself.I gave it 4 stars not because of it's manufacture or suppler, but my 'like' ability and me not expecting the brush 'prick' effect.I'm going to continue to try it as I like the brush density and will see if I can become accustom to the 'prick'.

I just love it.But looks can be deceiving. The brush hurts my cheeks as I try to go in circles. I feel that the bristles should have been softer, not like tiny knives.

Good price on a well made product
this is my second Parker badger hair brush. I decided to go with a stiffer bristles this time and I like it better. And coincidentally it is less expensive. If you like stiffer bristles choose this one.
Blaireau prémium
Comme l'indique le titre il est bien prémium. Il est imposant, il est beau et très bien réalisé. Dès l'ouverture de la jolie boite on sent bien la qualité du produit. La touffe est grosse avec une très bonne densité. En tirant dessus aucun poil s'est détaché: très bon signe. Tout est bien collé. Je l'ai utilisé plusieurs fois avant de mettre mon commentaire et il n'a perdu aucun poil. La partie centrale est marbrée, bien plus jolie que sur la photo. Le socle est bien réalisé et bien centré. Il est vendu avec son support basique qui fait le job. Deux remarques cependant: c'est du vrai blaireau et il sent un peu l'animal, au fil des usages l'odeur va disparaitre. Deuzio c'est un blaireau pur noir donc le poil le plus courant et le plus rigide: il pique un peu et il est rigide comme un blaireau en soie de porc.Il conviendra mieux pour quelqu'un qui a la peau peu sensible et qui utilise un savon de rasage comme moi.Je recommande sans hésiter.

J'ai reçu ce blaireau il y a quelques semaines. Bien emballé. Très belle finition. L'objet semble de bonne qualité. Je ne l'ai pas encore essayé. Je reviendrai plus tard.
