I needed something I could use with minimal fuss and not have to deal with deep cleaning a coffee machine every month. Keurig machines get NASTY in all the nooks and crannies. Enter my search for palatable instant coffee that didn't need to be disguised by cream and sugar. You know what I'm talking about, that bitter aftertaste of most instant coffees that makes you wonder if someone is trying to off you for an inheritance (plot twist, there is no inheritance!). I must have tried half a dozen brands before I found this little gem.Super easy, check! I microwave 8oz of water and put two heaping teaspoon-fulls in. Stir and done.Cream and sugar? Not on my watch! I drink this black baby!My only major complaint is holy toledo, it's expensive! However, it's not even close to being as expensive as Starbucks every day, and when I calculate how much time I'm saving in tedious cleanup and maintenance I think it's worth it. This bulk option keeps the price at a semi-reasonable rate, and I get a delightful cup of coffee whenever it strikes my fancy.

I'm trying to eat organic as often as possible. While the cost for this coffee was very reasonable compared to other choices, organic coffee is expensive overall. I was a little disappointed by the taste. It seemed kind of thin, not robust like I'm used to. It didn't taste bad, it just didn't taste stellar. I am still weighing the pros and cons of organic versus regular instant coffee so the jury is still out on whether or not I will re-order this product.

We have tried many instant coffees over the years. Most have been nearly undrinkable. For emergency use only. The Cafe Alura is the rare exception. Tastes just like... Coffee. My wife likes her coffee a little 'thinner' than I do. Even made very strong, this instant is very good to drink. It even smells like coffee!If you need to use an instant, this is the one.

I'm quite pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of this instant coffee! While it will never be fresh brewed, this is one of the few brands I've tried that I would actually drink on it's own.It tastes like a solid cup of joe. Nothing fancy, not too bitter, middle of the road. I generally use a bit of cream and sweetener, and that made the mug!Normally, instant coffee needs A LOT added to it to essentially hide the weird medley of flavors that often permeate them. Which is why I reserve them for baking or making my super quick mochas/caffe smoothies on the go. But it's really nice to have found a great instant coffee that can stand on it's own - will be great for cool weather camping trips!To sweeten the deal, this coffee is organic and fair trade, so I don't have to add any more guilt to my mornings. Ok taste a bit more acidic to my palate. Like the organic, fair-trade and source information though. However, also prefer a mold-free coffee of any form. Did purchase a 2 bottle option and while will finish them...not my first choice.

For instant coffee has a nice flavor and if made strong not bitter. Only downside is the jar lid is not air tight so coffee will become stale quickly
