It hasn’t needed any upgrades, and is still basically the exact same function and design as it was way back when. I particularly find this gratifying when I just learned, for example, that Apple will be issuing an upgrade on their OS system for their IPhone, which will basically make any of their phones from the 4S and below obsolete, so that, even though yours may work perfectly, technically, you would have to throw it away and spend many hundreds of dollars for a new one!This appliance that has stood the test of time is the WaterPik. I remember my father buying one of the first ones, per his dentist’s recommendation back in the 1960s. In those days there was something about it that seemed almost futuristic. Like something you would see someone using in outer space in a SCI Fi flick. However it’s simple design and function was enormously easy to master, which is a big deal for me back then as little kid!It is also quite uncommon, when it came to devices that supposedly promised some kind of improved health, to find that everything they say about the produce… is true. I remember year after using it, and going from my annual checkup at the dentist, the results were amazing.I stopped using the WaterPik years ago, and just depended on regular brushing and flossing. However now that I’m not such a young kid, even with diligent dental hygiene, you’re gums will begin to do some receding on their own, purely by the evil tyrant known as “aging”. My scores for my gums receding were getting a bit worrisome, in the last few dental checkups, and again my dentist recommended that I should also use a WaterPik. To be honest I was surprised they still made them. I felt, like most everything in the world, these had fallen out of style or favor and we’re no longer used. My dentist however told me they were perhaps one of the best dental hygiene Home Devices ever invented and he was sorry to see that most people didn’t use them anymore. I told him that I flossed religiously, but he told me that the WaterPik gives an extra much needed work-out to the gums keeping them healthy and strong and reducing gum receding. So of course I went right onto Bolo, and found this unit. It was basically the same as I remembered, though they have streamlined the device a bit. Again it was easy to use, and starting with a low pressure number, I quickly got used to the pulsating action and within a week was at the highest level (yes, as “Spinal Tap” guitarist Nigel Tufnel would say: “it goes to eleven!”).The unit is actually a bit quieter than the original with an easier water reservoir system and a coiled hose which makes placement back on its “holster” a lot easier. It also has several holders for each individual pick if more than one of you is using it. Since I’m the only one who uses it, I simply keep the pick itself on the hose unit which fits easily on the hose-holster. Putting it back in its little holder which is situated behind the water reservoir is a little awkward, and frankly if you’re the only one using it there’s no reason to just keep it attached.So on to the punch line. After only six months of use, I went back for my dental checkup, and went through the rating test for gum receding, and found that all my numbers went up 50 to 70%! My dental hygienist, who does the tests, was so excited that she literally ran into the hall to show others, like a proud mother showing off her son’s report card. I feel like a little boy again, and was just a little upset that they no longer give out lollipops as rewards!One thing my dentist and dental hygienist did tell me is that if you use the WaterPik, you should continue to floss, since there are things that the actual floss does between your teeth which a WaterPik cannot. And of course things that the WaterPik can do that flossing doesn’t. So the combination of the two is extremely important. I’m at the age where friends are beginning to tell me about real trouble with their teeth, and how many are getting bridges and implants, and in one case even dentures, since their gums have receded so badly that their original teeth had to be removed (and we’re talking about folks in their late 40’s to early 60’s here, not ancient people). So I cannot stress hard enough how important something like a WaterPik is. And also, how important it is to start this kind of dental hygiene when you are young. For me, especially as you get older, there is nothing more constantly prevalent than when you have bad teeth. I don’t think anything else destroys your quality of life more than trouble with your teeth and the consequences it causes.By the way, after doing a lot of research I have found that Bolo gives the absolute best price for the WaterPik. Of course it arrived within days and like all other products has a great return policy.

My teeth feel really clean after I use it. The only thing I don't like is I seem to spray a large portion of the counter top while I use this waterpik flosser! It's electric (plugs into the wall) but very easy to use. I would say the container holds more water than is necessary to clean the teeth, so you don't have to worry about running out in the middle of cleaning. I think it removes more than a regular flosser or dental floss.

The waterpik is a reliable well-made product. I have many caps on my teeth and it is difficult to floss around and in between the caps. I usually have a bad report from my dentist when I go for cleanings.I've been using this since I bought it and when I went to the dentist, the dentist said that I've finally cleaned my teeth well.The adjustable settings and multiple pick types make this a great option to clean a variety of dental fixture types.I have had this unit for a long time and it still works the same as I did when I first got it.This has been the been one the the best purchases that I have made! It will really change your oral health! I highly recommend the waterpik!

I've been using the Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser for a bit now, and overall, it's a great addition to my oral care routine. The multiple pressure settings are a huge plus - you can adjust it to whatever feels comfortable, whether you want a gentle clean or something more powerful. The rotating tip makes it super easy to reach the back of your teeth, which is a big win.The 22 oz reservoir is just the right size to get through a full flossing session without needing a refill, which I really appreciate. It also has a massage mode, but to be honest, I don't see myself using that feature much.I also have a very small single sink vanity and the size of this is just right to fit on the counter along with my toothbrush.The only real downside? It's pretty loud, and the tube vibrates quite a bit while in use, which can be a little annoying. If you don't mind the noise, though, this is a solid Waterpik that does it's job well.

We have been using this for several months with no problems. We ordered two--we have two separate bathrooms. This has adjustable flow and comes with several tips to use for different purposes. It has worked well with no problems. It does make some noise when in use, and we just keep it plugged in so it is ready to go when needed. We mostly use the "floss" setting and fit it aids in dental hygiene. It is a great addition to brushing.

Este es el segundo producto de la marca que adquiero. El primero lo tuve hace unos años y al cabo de unos meses se descompuso; intenté repararlo pero nunca encontré quien lo hiciera porque era un problema eléctrico, así que terminé por tirarlo a la basura. En esta ocasión, adquirí nuevamente esta marca porque aparentemente todas las principales marcas tienen ese problema y es más sencillo encontrar puntas o aditamentos de waterpik, así que sugiero no dejarlo conectado a la luz para evitar que algún pico de energía lo queme; además recomiendo utilizar agua purificada para evitar que se tape con sedimentos o calcio y si no se puede, seguir las indicaciones de la marca respecto de realizar una limpieza regular del dispositivo agregando agua tibia y vinagre. Según el fabricante, se pueden incluir productos como enjuague bucal o similares al depósito de agua, lo cual me parece muy práctico pero yo en particular no lo realizo para evitar tapar los conductos.Aunque el dispositivo no es portátil, me parece que vale la pena su compra, sobre todo porque incluye distintas puntas aplicadoras que hacen más sencilla la limpieza bucal y también tiene un mejor depósito de agua en comparación con los dispositivos portátiles de precios similares, que admiten muy poca agua.Me parece que cualquier tipo de persona le sacará ventaja a este tipo de distintivos, pero la gente con algún tipo de ortodoncia lo valorará más porque facilita mucho la limpieza sin dañar aparatos como brackets y sin la necesidad de realizar maniobras complicadas con los cepillitos especializados. Estoy contento con mi compra, solo espero que esta vez me dure más tiempo.
