It was my late husband's tractor and I don't use it nearly as much as he did. But regardless of how long it sits idle, it always starts up right away and is ready to go. I had no cause to use it this winter since we had little snow, but now it's time to mow. I filled it up with diesel and turned the key. It immediately jumped to life, but then began to cough and sputter. The fuel gauge arrow was jumping all over the place and regardless of where I pushed the throttle, it didn't get more fuel. It would practically stall, then sputter a bit and struggle along. It wasn't getting adequate fuel to actually put it in gear and move. I tried letting it run but eventually it stalled out and would not fire up again. I assumed it would have to go into the shop for an expensive repair (and it would probably sit there for a while until they got around to fixing it). Since I use a fuel additive for my gasoline engines, I decided to come down to the house and Google "diesel fuel additives." I came up with Stanadyne Performance Diesel Injector Cleaner and it sure sounded as if this might be my problem. For good measure I also ordered some Stanadyne Diesel Performance Formula. I ordered them Sunday and both were delivered 3 days later. I debated emptying the tank and getting new diesel, but then decided since I had four bottles I would first give the Injector Cleaner a chance. I poured a couple of ounces in and started the engine. It started right up but still ran rough, but it wasn't stalling so I slowly rolled forward and back a few feet at a time to help mix in the additive. Then I decided to throw in a good splash of the Performance Formula. A few more minutes and -- voila -- the engine suddenly surged and the needle went right up into the Min/Max area for mowing. I throttled back and it quieted down. I pushed the throttle forward and it roared back to life. I did that a few more times to be sure it was well and truly working. Wow! Am I impressed with these two products. Not to mention that I'm more than a little bit proud that I got my tractor back up and running and avoided a BIG bill for a service call. Thank you Stanadyne! You really are the best. And you will now be a regular part of my maintenance program.

I had a check engine warning light on my 2013 F350, 6.7, 135K, that was intermittent from an EGR Intake sensor. I added this injector cleaner at the beginning of a 3,000-mile road trip. That was 6,000 miles ago and I haven’t had an engine warning light since. There has definitely been a performance increase.

The eight once bottle should be clear to help the consumer add the correct amount of product.My Mercedes diesel has a problem with carbon build up from the American diesel fuel that has been refined to reduce pollutants. I found that Stanadyne Performance Diesel Injector Cleaner has helped reduce the carbon related issues.. Syanadyne also offers a heavy duty diesel engine cleaner which I add each quarter to my tank for added clean up of any built-up diesel fuel carbon. This cleaner is available on Bolo.

I spent some time researching for an injector cleaner that would live up to the promises it made. After a few hours, this brand seemed to be uniquely consistent across different classes of diesel engines so I opted to start with a small quantity. Four tanks and two bottles in and this injector cleaner seams to be doing what it is advertised to do. I am getting less black smoke though I wouldn't say that it is completely eliminated... yet. The engine seems to run smoother, starts better and is less noisy, but at 320K many things are relative. Of everything I have ever bought on Bolo, this product was by far the best packaged. The seller made some inexpensive but intelligent decisions to ensure there would be no chance of a spill if the carrier handled it properly.

Ones in a while, you add something to your vehicles fuel tank, and it really cleans something out, but usually, not so much. Diesel are even less likely to react to additives in any meaningful way, but Stanadyne knows alot about diesel injectors (I think they invented a few), and this injector cleaner, definitely quiets the injectors, and smooths the whole "clackity clack" thing, quite a bit, at least on old style mechanical injectors. Especially that one, odd, noisy injector, that drives me crazy! As for performance, that's totally subjective, but passing power is really there, and very smooth, so I think that's good, because, rough is bad, especially when passing.

It isn't likely that any additive can turn a 20 year 7.3 into a new puppy. But the injector cleaner produces less smoke and provides a faster start. I'd lke to say that there has been performance improvement. Maybe so but can't prove it. Appears to up the performance but a wash and wax 'seems' to make the 7.3 feel better also.
