I’ve tried many other home perm products, but the Ogilvie Home Perm is by far the best for my hair. Product came in a set of two. This is good since I need more then one perm to do my hair. The product came in a timely fashion, good price, easy to follow instructions, and nice on hair. Need to use oil around head to prevent burning of skin.

My 2 daughters perm their hair about once a year and will not use any other brand. They love this Original Normal Hair with Extra Body but can't find it in the stores, so we have to order on the internet.

I've used Ogilvie products before, but never their "Original" home perm version. I was shocked that the ammonia fumes were so strong, and so suffocating strong even with the fan on. There was no pleasant scent at all to the Ogilvie Home Perm The Original Normal Hair With Extra Body. I you are going to chance it with this "original" perm -- pick another room and open the windows - turn a fan on and direct the fumes away from your nose. It is literally stifling and left me gasping, so, needless to say, I didn't finish the perm.
