Contego makes the absolute BEST travel mug on the market. It’s extremely durable and if you knock it over, it will not leak. They come in a variety of colors and it keeps my coffee hit. I decided to get this one because it’s smaller than the others I’ve purchased. They’re sleek and don’t leak and the price is very reasonable. They’re definitely worth checking out.

I said what I said :) I have absolutely LOVED my contigo’s over the years and even made my husband a fan of them over his Yeti’s. My contigo is reliable, spill proof, keeps the perfect temperature, and is perfect size to fit under my Keurig, plus it lasts forever. The only reason I get new ones is for a new color.

This cup works great. Quickly put it to daily use at home and on the way to work. I needed a cup to use around the home after getting new carpet. I accidentally contributed to stains over the years and I needed something to minimize accidental spills. This does the job. After filling my cup with my favorite coffee I let it sit for a minute and then put the lid on. The push button lid used during each sip allows me to get my coffee without allowing extra or accidental spills or drips. A full cup turned upside down does not spill even one drop while not recommended it stays sealed. I have not dropped this cup yet with a beverage inside but I imagine it would hold fast. I realized that my spills seem to be during the transitions from one place to another. To date no spills on the new carpet.Cleaning seems to be a snap. After each use as the instructions recommend, I rinse out the cup and open the lid and flush with water and air dry. I have run it through the washer on the top rack with no issues or paint loss yet. Although I did not run the heat drying seeing thats how most plastics get ruined and paint starts to peel off.Overall a great cup. As a 2-4 cup of coffee a day drinker I am putting this cup to good use. Drink stays warm for hours (if my coffee lasts that long without being consumed). I have had a Starbucks thermos mug that I have used for over 10 years in the past. It is still my "favorite" travel mug for two reasons that include a clip handle and its a thermos. However this is my daily use cup around the home that has been put to good use.

Love this cup, it is my second one. The only reason i finally bought another is: Do not put the cup portion in the dishwasher it will peel the outer part off. It has a lock button which makes it leak proof.

I found this product via ads/reviews for it on lifehacker, when it was on sale.I elected to purchase the black travel mug.Pros:Keeps hot beverages HOT for 2-4 hours. Afterwards, it will keep them near scalding, or warm for the majority of the day.Dishwasher safeLid mechanism opens, to allow for proper cleaning (in said dishwasher)There is a tea infuser attachment (http://www.Bolo.com/Contigo-West-Infuser-Accessory-Greyed/dp/B00KRVQ21S), that connects to the bottom of the lid.Spillproof. On a flat surface, leave the lock off, and you just press(and hold) the button on the back to take a drink. If you're shoving it in a bag, or if it is LIKELY to be knocked over frequently, you can give yourself extra comfort using the lock button. - I've had no spills, and I bring it daily in my bag.Great build quality, other than paint. I'm sure it will last for many years to come.Cons:The paint comes off relatively easy - I don't abuse my belongings, but I found out the hard way, on the first day, that the paint was somewhat vulnerable. I might consider getting the stainless steel version without paint next time.While you won't feel any heat/cold emanating from the stainless steel body, it became evident that the lid leaks the most heat. For an extremely hot beverage, you may find that the lid does get fairly warm. Not scalding, but definitely far from cold.If you attempt to fill the mug, putting the lid on may cause some of your hot/cold beverage to spill out. I suggest you fill it up with regular water the first time, and get a feel for how full it can be. This is especially geared towards those using the tea infuser, which puts you at a higher risk of scalding yourself.Priced a bit higher than most other travel mugs I would buy typically.Overall, this was an A+ product. I think most of my cons are common sense issues, which don't bother me in the slightest. I dock a star for the easy to scratch paint, but overall, it does not hinder my enjoyment of this product. This is without a doubt one of the best mugs I've drunk from, and I would recommend it to everyone.- excluding those that do not wish to use a travel mug, that you have to hold a button to drink from.

i bought 2 of these the other day, one white and one black, for hot and cold drinks and I am amazed at how well these are made. Solid, sturdy, and well designed. The auto seal is the best for one handed use and it does not leak or drip one bit. It has a nice steady flow of liquid when you drink from it and is easy to clean. The top where the autoseal mechanism is, is very well made and snaps open quickly and once cleaned and dried snaps right back into place with no problems at all. The only problem I had was with the lock feature, it was kinda hard to lock, but I really have no need to use it myself so it didn't affect me. My coffee was kept warm for 10 hours and my cold drink for about the same time. It might last longer but who takes more than 10 hours to drink a coffee or juice?I recommend this to anyone looking for a good travel mug at a reasonable price

Die Contigo Becher sind die Besten aller Zeiten! Halten 200% was sie versprechen. Schade dass der Body nicht Spülmaschinenfest ist aber wenn man ihn am Abend immer ausspült muss man nie schrubben. Der neue Deckel lässt sich super reinigen und teils auseinandernehmen. Einfach ab in die Spüle. I love it.

Outstanding quality

Outstanding product. I bought this in 2017, and still going strong. No issues, leak proof. Perfect smart colour. Absolutely superb for hot or cold beverages. If you are using it for hot drinks, i recommend leaving the lid off if you aren’t travelling or needing it right away. This is to allow it to cool a little so that that its a drinkable temperature. However, if it’s piping hot with 100.celsius straight from the kettle water then it should stay hot for 4 hours. And at the 3 hour mark it may become drinkable. But you may find your experience to be different. Disclaimer: Careful when drinking hot beverages.As for cold, i recommend filling to the top with ice and the rest with water or drink of choice. When i add my mint and water in the summer. And drunk through all the water, i can add more cold water at work and the ice will still be going strong. However, with each addition of cold liquids being added and the time passing by, the ice will melt eventually.
