Was simple to assemble, but I was missing 2 bolts. Luckily I had some. Also, I saw another review where the buyer’s weights didn’t fit, however mine do. Was a great price

I purchase this for my TRX Suspension Trainer. So, I modified it to bolt onto my TRX PRO 4 Straps. The way the picture looks like I just made sure the handles were upright. OMG, the way I modified the Parabody weight lifting rack is super sturdy now. I needed them to be at least 7 feet and it is now.

I upgraded my setup in the house ("bad weather gym" as I refer to it as) by getting this power rack. CAP Barbell has been around for 30+ years making affordable gym equipment so I knew this would do what I needed and the price was unbeatable (on sale for $98.99 with free shipping). Prior to this purchase I was trying to make do with a small power tower (smaller than usual) and it was not even safe to use. I attached a lat pulldown system to it and anything over 20 pounds was scary and there was no way I was going to dips or pullups on it. This is why I purchased the CAP Barbell power rack.This rack is sturdy and easy to assemble with really good detailed instructions included. Now my lat pulldown system (not included with the rack) has no issues with 55lbs on it and should be able to hold much more than that without swaying. Since this is in the house I do not have additional weight to test with since I mostly use kettlebells. I did some squats and bench press with this rack and its safe to use for that too. I ordered the matching CAP Barbell spotter arms for safety later on in the day and I will review them soon too.The reason I only gave it four out of five stars is because: 1) it uses much smaller holes (possibly 1/2" or 5/8") instead of 1" like I am accustomed to for everything in my shed gym. 2) the included J-Cups do not have any sort of protection on them to prevent scratching the rack or a barbell. I will buy some felt pads and cut up them to fit to protect the barbell with. 3) the rack only includes one weight plate holder instead of two to keep it better balanced if lifting heavy. Instead it has one weight plate holder and a barbell holder.Would I recommend this rack? Yes, if on a budget. Most people will outgrow this rack within a year or two but that's okay at this price. I do not have space in my home to use this rack for any other exercises but if you have more room than I do (I crammed it in a bedroom and it just fit between my footboard and my tv stand) you can also do deadlifts, attach dip bars and bands to it making it rather versatile.For reference the barbell I am using (see picture) is not actually considered rackable. A rackable barbell has 51" or more between the sleeves and this is a 5ft (60') long barbell because that is all I have room for in this small space. I use two pairs of collars on this bar. The weight plates go in between the collars to keep them from moving. Because of the two pair of collars being used this reduces the amount of weight plates that can be added but it does work for very lightweight sets this way.Update now that I have the spotter arms:Now that I have received the spotter arms I am a little disappointed. Yes they do what they should do and fit properly creating a snug connection which is crucial for safety. However my disappointment is in how they look. This is shown online as the spotter arms designed for this rack yet they fail to match the J-Cups that came with the rack. The J cups are shiny and smooth and a have a much brighter color then the spotter arms. The spotter arms have a dull lighter finish that is rough in texture. Also one spotter arm will require some glue or double stick tape because the protective rubber is not staying down like it should. I can easily fix the protective rubber but being that this is brand new I should not have had to.

I bought this a bit hesitant of the reviews but so far I’m extremely satisfied with it. Im about 5’11, 215 lbs and am able to do pull ups just fine with a bit of a bend of the legs. Some people reported it to be wobbly which I will say it is does move when you try to re-rack the weight too aggressively at the end of a set. However that can be easily resolved by just adding a weight on the bottom. On one of the corners there’s a post to slide your plates so just add a plate there and that wobble goes away. It was pretty easy to set up. Out the package it might look a bit intimidating but it’s quite simple. I’ve been using it everyday and it’s going strong. For the price, I think it’s worth the money.

The base unit itself seems pretty decent, but the pictures show that it has posts on each side for weight storage. The actual main picture on Bolo shows weight storage posts on both sides.When I actually get the product, it comes with one weight plate storage post, and another post that I thought must have been the wrong part. It turns out that unlike the product image on here, it has a weight bar storage on the right hand side.This is utterly stupid, because whenever you store weight plates you're gonna want an even distribution. If you don't have an even distrubution the unit's gonna be incredibly unstable. If you put any horizontal force WHAT SO EVER the unit tips over.So I called CAP Barbel. Automated voice mail NO ONE ANSWERING PHONE EVER. The voicemail says to email them. I email them. They get back to me 3-4 days later and tell me I have the right part.. Long story short they say I can order the part from them for $9 .. I fill out the Credit Cart authorization form and mail it back.A week goes by I hear nothing. I email them. Another 4 days go by nothing. I email them demanding a response. I get a reply "We're still trying to locate it in our warehouse." I say thanks for the update.. Another week goes by nothing, I email asking for an update. Nothing..It has been over a month or more maybe even two months since I ordered this. I still cannot use it. Recently I decided on a DIY solution-- Found some 2" diameter furniture feet on here that have a screw hole in the bottom. Got them, with slight modification they work. Go to Home Depot. They don't have a good supply of screws of the damn right size because it's metric. I get the longest they got. This morning realize they're too short.Who knows what.. 2 months? Longer after my purchase, I can't use the god damn thing that I paid $100 for. CAP has one that costs $200 that has weight plate posts on both sides but again, does it really? This one had the damn picture of two and it only has one.Bolo has a 30 day return policy. Do the math. I wasted my money. Bought the wrong product. CAP barbell's customer service is fricken garbage.Super dissatisfied customer. Now instead of going to Kung Fu I'm headed to Loews to see if they have 3" bolts in the right size so I can finally use the product that I bought ages ago and CAP was NO GOD DAMN HELP WHATSOEVER.Never buying another product from CAP barbell unless I know 100% from seeing the god damn thing in person that it's what I need, and I will never have to speak to the manufacturer.From what I can tell: Decent product. Complete piece of trash customer support.

Versatile, solido e robusto anche con carichi elevati, se vi allenate da soli consiglio comunque l'acquisto delle barre spotter sempre vendute da Cap Barbell per questioni di sicurezza (panca e squat). Limitatamente alla funzionalità sui livelli di rack che costano il doppio o il triplo.
Good quality, good price
Very good rack, zero complaints. Easy to put together and has been solid as a rock for me. Would recommend, especially considering the price you can pay for other racks and cages. For 95% of home gyms this will do the trick.
DO NOT BUY. Extremely dangerous, non existent quality control.
UNSAFE. Awful, broken welding on safety critical joints. Cost to return such a heavy item is almost half the cost of the item and Bolo will not refund. Unbelievable that it’s deemed acceptable to sell unfit for purpose, dangerous products and then expect the customer to pay for the return? After over 10 years buying from Bolo this the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review.
It does the job by not perfectly.
This style of dip bar would work better on a 3 inch by 3 inch rack so it would be more stable. It works though.

A lot of reviews mentioned both are the same, not opposites and mine are definitely both the same. I'm not sure why this matters though, they fit in opposite sides of my rack and are sturdy and angled just right so plates don't slide off. Will order another pair soon!
