Skittles Showdown: The Sweetest Poker Night Ever!
We bought the Skittles Original Chewy Candy Bowl Size Bag (320g) for our game night, and they were a hit in the most unexpected way—we ended up using them as poker chips! The vibrant colors made them perfect for keeping track of bets, but honestly, it was hard to resist eating our 'currency' during the game. Every flavor—grape, lemon, cherry, orange, and green apple—was so good that we kept snacking, and the candy bowls had to be refilled more than once.The size of the bag was just right for our gathering, and everyone loved having such a fun and tasty twist on the classic poker night. It added a playful vibe, and Skittles brought an extra layer of excitement to the table. Délicieux, Mais Au Raisonnable!
Ces bonbons sont délicieux au goût seulement. Mais pour la santé, c'est la quantité ici qui fait toute la différence. Ce n'est pas un repas ou comme un repas où c'est la qualité qui fait la différence pour la santé. Il faut être raisonnable dans les deux, sauf que la différence d'avec les bonbons, on peut manger tout le repas qu'il y a dans l'assiette ou le bol. Quant aux bonbons, il faut les manger une poignée à la fois et garder le reste pour d'autres journées. Il ne faut jamais exagérer. On ne peut pas vider le sac d'un coup. Le sucre fait le gras et le gras fait l'embonpoint. Je l'ai appris à mes dépens.

Two of my g'kids have ADHD. We were told to avoid some additives that can "adversely affect kids' behaviour". Turns out Skittles, one of our former favorites, includes the unnecessary colourant for 'neon' ingredients that are banned or highly regulalated in Europe because of health/ADHD concerns and require Warning Labels like "Tartrazine (E102), Quinoline Yellow (E104), Sunset Yellow (E110), Carmoisine (E122), Ponceau 4R (E124) and Allura Red (E129) according to the UK-based Food Standards Agency (FSA)." I now read labels and buy treats for the kids (and me) that do not include unneeded colourants. I might still buy skittles just for me sometimes but, for the kids, I have found other more natural candy snacks that still are great tasting treats.
