This highlighter is very similar to Becca's highlighter (Opal or Champagne Pop) which is almost $40, whereas TheBalm's highlighter is only $24 and you can score it cheaper here from time to time when the price drops! If $24 is too much for your budget then you can try some drugstore highlighters that are similar color to the Mary Lou Manizer, but keep in mind, you might need to layer those products on to get a bright highlight VS with Mary Lou all you need is just a little to get an amazing glow!Possible dupes I found are:-Physicians formula shimmer strips (Miami strip)-Wetnwild fergie shimmer palette (Hollywood Blvd)

Love this bronzer for my light skin color. I use it to contour with and it is very easy to blend out. It gives me a perfectly sun kissed face that people always seem to notice when I wear it. I have consistently heard "Wow you look tan, have you been outside?" or "Have you lost weight or something, you are looking so slim" or "You're skin is so pretty!" I think this bronzer is a good price point for how much you get in the pan. There is a lot of product in this so I know it is going to last me a while, and I pretty much wear it most days. I don't know how this bronzer would do on darker skin tones, but for the fair or light girls, I know you all would be very happy with this purchase. Definitely a must have in your makeup collection!

The ONLY REASON that I gave this product 1 star is because mine arrived shattered in a million shimmery bits :( Bolo did not do the greatest job packaging this for shipping, I ordered with 2 other items and it was loose in the bottom of the box so I'm sure it got knocked all over the place.Other than that, I love the product, its a bit more pink that the description lets on but still looks beautiful on the skin. It is definitely more subtle than the Mary-lou manizer but don't be fooled, a little bit still goes a long way! I also like that although very pigmented, these don't look like glitter when they are applied, just a really pretty sheen and glow.

Ive heard alot of positive feedback on this bronzer, so I figured i would give it a try. Ive never used this line before so I was a little skeptical, but figured the least that could happen is that i dont like it... well needless to say I wore it today and must say that its truly amazing! the color pay off is just fabulous, its lightweight, gives the right coverage/sheen/sparkle/shimmer but does not over power the rest of your makeup.. the shimmer isnt obnoxious like some products ive tried, this stuff is my absolute FAVE! I am very pleased with my purchase...Not to mention the seller is one of the absolute best on Bolo! I have ordered many products that have arrived in almost two weeks, but I ordered this and received it within just a few short days! You wont regret your purchase, its a must have for me!thank you!!!! i am one happy customer!!!

I had been eyeing this color and the mary-lou manizer. I decided to get this color because it has a pink tinge to it. I was very excited anticipating it's arrival but when it came and I opened it, it was all cracked. I was so sad but you never know what can happen during transport. I ended up keeping it, I honestly don't think its anyone's fault things just happen. Even though its cracked I still use it , I use it with a small stipple brush and highlight with it. Being cracked doesn't affect the performance of this highlighter in any way. It smoothes on seamlessly and gives a perfect glow. the quality of this product is so good. I will definitely be purchasing the other 2 colors also.

This was soooooo gorgeous, but just doesn't look good on me. It's really finely milled, has great shimmer and you get so much product so it's a shame it didn't work for me. I hated using it as a bronzer (so much shimmer), it was too dark to use as a highlighter on my medium tan skin and I just couldn't justify using this giant tub of powder just as an eyeshadow. I ended up getting the Mary-lou manizer instead and with a light touch I make it work. But I do think this would be awesome for women with darker skin tones. The market is seriously lacking in highlighters that work for women of color with darker skin tones and this does fit the bill. To each their own though!

It is very natural and applies easily with actually fantastic coverage which is rare from a bronzer. This colour is light and, as I have dark skin, I wouldn't call it a bronzer as such but it gives my skin a beautiful radiant glow that is youthful and healthy. I have also bought the dark colour which is great for summer and very natural; not dirty looking like many bronzers can be. I have just discovered this product but I love it and I will be using it from now on. Excellent!
Different product
This is not the same product as described!! Betty Lou should be so much more darker but is is very light. It is a shimmer and highlighter. I used to have Betty Lou and this is not it!

Un bronceador con el punto justo de brillo. Se puede usar también como colorete o como sombra de ojos e incluso como iluminador para pieles más oscuras. Para pieles claras no lo recomiendo, a no ser que se utilice una brocha muy ligera y se ponga con mucho cuidado, ya sea en los pómulos, o como toque final por toda la cara. Da un brillo muy bonito pero aplicándolo con cuidado.
