You can get very creative with it. You can add it to a smoothie or mix it up and eat with a spoon. Give it a try!
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome low cal "peanut butter."
I think the best thing about this stuff is it's really versatile; I use it in a bunch of different recipes and I really like the texture and taste it provides. Right now I am totally addicted to using it to make Pad Thai sauce for zucchini noodles.I use this thing: OXO Good Grips Julienne Peeler to make skinny "zoodles" out of zucchini and carrots (highly recommend it).To make the sauce I mix:1/4 cup of tamari sauce (or low sodium soy sauce),1/2 cup of lime juice,1-2 tbs PB2 powder,2 Tbs Huy Fong, Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, 17 Ounce BottleI add it all to a glass bottle and then shake it up and put it on the noodles like dressing (i store any leftover sauce in the fridge). You can sauté the zoodles with garlic and add some kind of protein spiced with the sauce (meat, tofu or whatever) or eat the zoodles raw like a salad. Either way I like to add about 1/4 tsp of sesame oil and chopped green onion on top of the Pad Thai sauce too (or I guess you could just add the sesame oil to the sauce in the first place).I also like to make this mock cookie dough hummus sometimes. It probably sounds disgusting but I mash up a can of beans and add 1/4 cup (prepared) PB2, 2 tsp vanilla, some stevia (and sometimes figs or a bit of mashed banana) and then blend it and top with mini chocolate chips. ...I don't even bother eating it as "hummus," i just eat it with a spoon.. It probably sounds even more disgusting that I sometimes I even make "cookie dough hummus" with steamed cauliflower instead of the beans, and I have also been known to abuse broccoli in this same manner too (seriously, I usually flavor the broccoli with cocoa powder in addition to everything else--it tastes good but looks so disgusting that no one will eat it but me).My other favorite way to eat it is making mock chocolate bars (more like smears) by mashing up 1/4-1/2 a banana on a piece of wax paper until it's soft and smooth as butter. Then I add tons of cocoa powder (probably 1tbs-1/8 cup) and a tsp-tbs of PB2 powder, and a little stevia to cancel out some of the bitterness of the chocolate (i always taste it as I make it) and then I fold the wax paper in half and smooth out the mass of chocolate until it's nice and smooth but not paper thin. I stick it in the freezer and once it's frozen it's like a Hershey's bar. You could also do it with coconut oil but personally, I like bananas.I also like mixing it in a 1:1 ratio with coconut, almond, or cashew milk (I can't eat dairy) and adding a crapload of cinnamon and/or cocoa powder and using it as a dip for carrots or celery but I usually have to be careful cause on top of liking this as a dip, i've got this thing for carrots and like them so much that I've been known to turn orange from eating too many (seriously, it happens). You know what the weird thing is though (like besides eating vanilla and chocolate flavored PB2 broccoli mash)? I've never been a huge fan of real peanut butter (in fact I actively avoided it as a child) so I have no idea how this stuff compares to the real stuff aside from the fact that it seems to work fine as a substitute in a lot of recipes that call for peanut butter. Also, just an FYI but this stuff isn't organic or nonGMO as far as I can tell. If you want an organic nonGMO pb substitute the only one I've ever seen is the more expensive Betty Lou's Just Great Stuff Organic Powdered Peanut Butter and Organic Powdered Chocolate Peanut Butter 2 Pack.
5.0 out of 5 stars Lasts for YEARS w/o refrigeration & SUPER-concentrated
I bought this Nov. of 2012, opened it, used it for a little while then stuck it up in the cupboard of my RV and forgot all about it. I found it a couple weeks ago. I was astounded to find it's still fresh, tastes just fine, and I'm eating it with no ill effects whatsoever (amazing considering it's about 120 degrees in the motorhome for many months of the year). I bought it when I was on an ultra-low-fat diet, and since I'm returning to it (sadly, the Paleo diet hasn't worked for me), I was most happy to reacquaint myself with this marvelous product.BTW, for anyone who might be interested, prior to buying the PB2 I got the book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease: The Revolutionary, Scientifically Proven, Nutrition-Based Cure, by Dr. Esselstyn, which eliminates nearly ALL fat from the diet, along with processed foods. The book is fascinating, based on his work with people dying of heart disease, at death's door. Although it was, will be cheating a tiny bit to incorporate the PB2, I plan to shave a few fat calories elsewhere. This diet worked spectacularly well for me, I lost 30 pounds in a matter of months, like 10 lbs a month, felt better and my blood pressure and bad cholesterol went down. But over the last couple of years I've... slipped, gained back a few pounds. I read up on the Paleo diet, and since I love meat, eggs, etc. I gave it a try. As I said, it simply doesn't work for me, perhaps it's my genotype. I've determined that I simply can't mix carbs and fats, one or the other has to go (and since fat has more than twice the calories of carbs, and since I need to shed pounds, it's a no-brainer as to which). When on the Esselstyn diet, I added very small amounts of ground turkey breast (e.g., to vegetarian chili, to make tacos, etc.), used Kraft fat-free cheese too, and nonfat Greek yoghurt, especially the plain as a sour cream substitute (I love it, actually prefer it to sour cream, use it as a veggie dip too). These technically aren't permitted any more than the PB2, but the diet worked anyway as long as I didn't go overboard.Anyway, the PB2 is like peanut butter on steroids- super-concentrated flavor (of course it would be, with all the liquids removed). What I mainly wanted to say is that I don't bother to mix it with water. I spread "no sugar added" jam (such as Smucker's Simply Fruit), something decadent yet healthy (organic would be better, of course), on good bread (such as Dave's), then sprinkle the PB2 lightly over the jam. Amazing how little is needed- the flavor is so concentrated and rich a little goes a long way. I use maybe a level tablespoon or so. Tastes great, and at least to me just like a normal PB&J. I'm sure there are other things that could be done with it, like sprinkling it on Greek nonfat yoghurt, regular or frozen. All the satisfying taste of peanut butter (even MORE), without all the fat! This stuff ROCKS!

With this product, you get 2 at a better price. It really tastes like peanut butter! It always comes sealed so it stays fresh, no leaking. I use it as extra protein in my smoothies, protein shakes, yogurt, oatmeal and anything else I think it will add protein without changing the consistency of whatever I am adding it to.
Yum

It makes it very tasty.
Buono,Pratico,Soddisfacente
Ottimo prodotto.
¡Sabe a peanut butter!
Había oído hablar mucho de la PB2 y tenía ganas de probarla. Me aconsejaron el sabor natural sobre el de cacao, así que lo pedí. ¡Es increíble! ¡Sabe a auténtica peanut butter!
Amazing PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter
Totally surprised that it tastes so good just like your regular peanut butter but without the fats! Guiltless eating with all the goodness.
