It is so well packaged that there was not a break or chip in any of the pieces.While so many different types of products will advertise "high-end at an affordable price," you can often look at them and see that they are NOT as nice as the higher priced items - that is NOT the case with this set! These are, in fact, better then a lot of sets I have seen that were $100+ for a single place setting. They are certainly brighter (in regards to the "white" of the china) than the higher priced sets I found in stores, and include more pieces then I have seen included in other sets. I still chose a cream colored table cloth for this set, along with gold place mats.The gold is without a flaw. I see no missed spots, no extra coverage - the lines are actually perfect as far as I can see.The care instructions are included in the box. It tells you what to avoid, how to keep the gold in the best possible condition, etc.My mother has a very nice set of her own, but told me that she is jealous because this is nicer then hers, and I'm pretty sure mine was cheaper.I may very well buy another pattern from the same company. I chose this one because it is very traditional and I plan to use this for holidays and other special occasions, but may want a more contemporary pattern for use during our weekly dinner parties.

To begin my review, this is one of the best purchases I have made in Bolo. The packing was well done and arrived without any damage .The dinnerware is absolutely stunning and would add a great touch to any home. We use the plates for everyday use and they do make us feel happy about the food we put in those plates. I have been reluctant to put these plates in the dishwasher yet. I did wash few times in the dishwasher but I promptly turned off the heat.Every guests of us has complimented these. To all people who are on the fence about buying this, my suggestion is go ahead and buy it. You will never have a buyer's remorse.Once I received the item, the seller checked in to see if there were any damages on delivery.I did a thorough and exhaustive search for flatware before settling on the one which would exactly match the dinnerware. It has a dash of gold lining without overdoing and it just matches. The china set was absolutely stunning. I’m so pleased with this purchase and would 100% recommend if you enjoy having guest over or just wish to eat in style, but some pieces golden details did come a little smudge but that’s what was expected but I’m still very happy overall.

I am very pleased with this item. They make a dining table look elegant. I have only a few minor issues as follows.- The bread plates were a little too large and, consequently, took up a little more room on a crowded dining table than I would have preferred.- I have always been accustomed to having a salad plate and a somewhat flattened soup bowl. The shape of these soup bowls are more like cereal bowls, which I believe is less elegant.- Rather than salad plates, these dishes have flattened bowls for salad which are elegant. The flattened shape for the salad bowls are exactly the shape I would have expected for the soup bowls.

Very well packaged and what a beautiful set of China. Looks much better in person but I must say, the finish on one of the handle on the sugar bowl was bad as you can see in the picture. It won’t affect its functionality but definitely an aesthetic eye-sore.Another thing I thought I should mention, as beautiful as this set is, I will never put it in the dish washer not the Microwave not to mention Gold is a very high electrical conductor. So, please use your adult brain and protect your investment.Nonetheless, it’s a wonderful and very beautiful set. Hopefully, the seller will try and address the small defect on the sugar bowl handle for me.

beautiful set, you won't be dissapointed.just to let some men know, the tea set wasn't made for men, the women always threw tea parties for other women and often men just came along and while the women were having their tea and cake the men were in another room smoking and drinking whisky or scotch.the tea parties were for the women to get together and discuss things like future party events like, coming out parties, birthday parties, or fourth of July celebration and special dance events, and also for social gatherings where women would talk about and show their quilt patterns.men don't be mad or disappointed if your fingers won't fit in the tea cup, because they won't, they were never meant too.the tea set has always been for the women to gather and talk about issues of day or what ever and teacups aren't coffee mugs.Sincerely SGT.
