You can't judge how well it works without having a horrible accident. I bought it mostly for Troxel's reputation and long history of making approved helmets.

These helmets are so attractive and have a low profile. Most important, when "someone" refused a jump, my fault, I hit a pole skull-first. Great protection.These are adjustable to fit one's head-shape and are really comfortable.Again, really attractive helmet that works.

Buyer beware... this is a standard base level Troxel helmet with brown fabric added to the top and the price doubled. There's nothing 'low profile' about it and no increased ventilation. As others have said, it is misrepresented as having a magnetic click latch, but it's a basic plastic click latch.I am replacing the exact same helmet without the pseudo leather look because it is a medium and a bit too tight (a prior gift from my wife). The large size fits my 23" head circumference much more comfortably and feels more secure as well. I'll move the mag click latch from my old helmet.I'm keeping the 'Western'... I'm wearing it tomorrow... just know what you're buying.

Hello everyone :)helmet beautiful, strong, very good quality. It was for my son (25) he is delighted, I showed him before of course, and it is he who chose.It's really a very good choice. Inside it is padded, it is very good with no pain.  it is a very good, trustworthy mark to itself.I recommend this helmet warmlyThe package arrived on time, very well packaged, the store person is very serious and very attentive, I am very happy to have taken in this store, I take the opportunity to say thank you so much :)I wish you a good day full of beautiful moments well lived and well breathed, be present and take care of yourself. I am super pleased with the low profile look and fit and the more western style of this helmet. I have used it for a couple weeks now and my head does not get hot on long trail rides and I don't feel like a huge "bubble head" when I wear it. I have to admit, its been hard for me to adapt to wearing a helmet since I ride mainly western performance horses, but after many of my own injuries and friends with serious head injuries I've decided to wear a helmet on trail and on my young horses - and this helmet makes all of that a little easier to adapt too! And heck, you can't beat the price!

I got this for my birthday, I have been riding since six years old and have been using the same helmet since. Finally got an upgrade with this amazing helmet. It came in two days and has amazing padding in it. 100% recommend to anyone riding. Showed it to my trainer and she said that it was really nice and comfortable and she needs a new helmet 😂

Lightweight my partner will only wear this hat otherwise none thank-you for shipping great product!
