I bought this as a gift for a man who does a lot of outside yard work. Fit was perfect. It's mid weight so he can comfortably move around in it. He works outside in light rain and it keeps him dry. And it's Carhartt so it's great qualify and warm.

Jackets thick and well made. I’m a shop foreman in an auto repair shop and this jacket has held up to some abuse over the past 3 months. Welding, grinding, various other tasks that take a toll on clothes. Stands up well to oils and degreasers. Says heavyweight, and while it’s thick, it isn’t too hot. Could still be layered to add warmth. Offers mild to moderate wind resistance. Does a fair job in the rain, but it’s not a dedicated rain jacket by any means.My biggest complaint is the hood is oversized and very thick and ends up getting in my way. No fault of the jacket, I should’ve just opted to get the heavyweight 1/4 zip without the hood.

My husband is a commercial fisherman. HE LOVES THIS SWEATSHIRT. It is one of his all time favorites. I got him one for his birthday and I couldn't believe how much he loved it. He loved the color, the style, the fit, the thickness, the quality, and EVERYTHING about it! Would highly recommend!

I got this for my boyfriend and its his favorite jacket! Its really thick and good quality and true to size and you can wear vests over it. Its water resistant so the rain and snow slide right off!

Loved the color. A bit warmer than I can probably use in the summer, doesn't breathe like classic cotton, but fantastic for chilly, drizzling days. Description says loose fit so the sizing ended up fitting a bit larger than I thought it would be. There is loose and there is oversized, falls right in the middle. Based on actual fit, I would have returned it and gone down a size had Large been available. Regardless, quality product, quality material, excellent hometown seller. Only complaint is the inside fuzzies were everywhere, even after three separate washes.

This hoodie is made fron thick jersay material. It's very warm, good quality and the zipper makes it easy to get on and off and to zip down or up to get warmer or colder when wearing. I wear it inside and outside the house in the winter and stay very comfortable. Its very resistant to rain also. The inside is fuzzy as it should be.
Heavy Duty Comfort
Hands down the best hoodie out there. I have tried dozens of hoodies for work and was looking for that thick heavy duty warm hoodie and this was it. I guess I have never looked at the heavyweight option when purchasing carhartt before because I have a couple other sweaters that are probably mid weight and are still good hoodies but cant compare to this one. I don't even use it for work actually. Loved it so much and its so comfortable its just a part of my regular hoodie rotation. Definitely made with quality materials and just as described its a heavyweight proper hoodie. Wouldn't normally spend this much on a hoodie I was planning to wear for work but after reading the reviews when I came across It I just bought it and glad I did. It worth the money

This is a fantastic hoodie for outdoor work. It is very durable and warm and can accommodate layers underneath or over top without being too bulky. It is easy to clean and looks fantastic on.

Sweater is warm and fits perfectly. Perfect for those who have to work in wet, snowy conditions. Water beads off like no other. More breathable then rain coats! I would recommend 100%
