The other product clumped in a way that had me spending an extra 5-10 minutes separating my lashes with tweezers, but since it was my first brown mascara I thought maybe that was how they all worked. WRONG! This mascara darkens my lashes without looking too bold, which is the entire reason I switched from black to brown, and it's so light that it sticks to the individual lashes without sticking them together. I think the brush they chose helps a lot too. If you're looking for a touched up "natural" look, this is perfect.

This is my favorite drugstore mascara. It's not clumpy which is what I love. Adds color and a little bit of volume to the lashes but overall I love the fact that it doesn't clump. Just reordered it. Lasts about a month and a half. If using daily.

I’m so happy to find a brown mascara! I love it, but find the applicator awkward and hard to hold on to, so much so that when this mascara is empty, I will continue my search for the perfect brown mascara.

I really like this mascara. The color is nice, and it stays on all day without smudging. The only complaint I have is the brush is a bit awkward to hold, sometimes; something about the shape of the handle is off. The mascara, itself, is great. It coats my lashes really well and I haven't had a problems with clumps. I do sometimes use a smaller brush from another brand because that seems to work better than the large brush that comes with it. But this is the only mascara I buy, anymore.

My eyelashes go down a LOT. This is the only mascara that gives them lift and volume, all without clumping! The difference is the light whipped formula and rubber bristle brush. And I love that it’s clean!! 😍

Overall, I can say I'm satisfied with this mascara itself.I've been using the Maybelline Great Lash but saw great reviews on this one so thought I'd give it a try.As far as mascara goes, I really don't see any difference between this and the Maybelline Great Lash.The brush is shaped differently - - fatter and with shorter silicone bristles than the Maybelline. It took a little practice b/c at first I found that my lashes clumped more with this than with the Maybelline, but using a little lighter hand with this achieves a nice and similar result.It does work as advertised - - - waterproof and smudge proof through hot weather, workouts and even swims.My biggest peeve with this, and the reason I'll be going back to Maybelline Great Lash when I run through this tube, is the shape of the tube and wand. I'm not talking about the brush itself, but the shape of the wand handle that you hold onto while applying the mascara.Am I the only one that finds the conical shape hard to hold onto? Or maybe I just happen to apply my mascara differently than others do.I typically hold onto the wide part of the brush handle to apply to the majority of my lashes, but then I always slide my fingers down to the top part of the handle when I apply to my bottom and outer edge lashes. I cannot tell you how many times the brush has squirted out of my fingers when I adjust my hold onto it.The conical shape that narrows toward the end make it difficult to hold onto. This is made worse because the plastic is sort of micro-textured and doesn't really allow a nice finger hold at the narrow end.Silly to judge a mascara on the packaging, but the Maybelline gives me the same result without the dropsies and mess. Sorry CoverGirl.

I've tried many mascaras but I always come back to Covergirl. Goes on smooth no clumping and this brush is one of the big ones for longer lashes...another factor is I like brown not black and many others do not carry brown mascara.

This is what works for me. I've got very fine lashes that are pretty long, but the tips get bleached by the sun and turn invisible. I never get clumps with this mascara, and it definitely lasts all day/night, but it comes off easily with a cotton round and some micellar water. Very buildable, but you don't need 500 coats.
Non clumpy. It's a must have for the people with straight lashes.
