The EZ Detect Colon Disease Test is the most convenient test available for at-home detection of hidden blood in the stool, one of the primary early warning signs of colorectal disease. Hidden blood in the stool can be caused by bleeding ulcers, hemorrhoids, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, fissures or cancer of the colon. Each test kit is for one user. The kit contains: a foil pouch containing five test tissues, a Positive Control package, one patient instruction sheet and one test result post card for mailing results to a doctor or lab. If the test is positive (any blue-green color appears in the test area of the pad), you likely have blood in the stool. Do not dismiss the findings even though there occasionally can be false positives with the test. Immediately contact your physician for follow-up and further screening (such as colonoscopy) and testing. Strongly consider seeking an appointment with a gastroenterologist. Early detection is your best protection!

Bought this test in May 2024 which has an expiration date of May 31, 2026. The final test using the Positive Control Package did not produce the blue cross on the Detect Pad meaning the Pads are NOT detecting fecal blood.

If you are having problems with hemorrhoids or pain itching, and just wanted to take a test to see if you had a problem you should go to the doctor for that’s all I wanted this product for . No it’s not easy to use and it. Truthfully the way you need to use it is disgusting. I will not buy it again and I haven’t used it. It was just a waste of my money.

I put a drop of blood on the paper and threw it in a couple ounces of water in a bowl and squeezed another drop or two out of my finger into the water. It did not turn blue except a couple places where I directly smeared blood. If it can't turn the paper blue with a couple drops of blood in a couple ounces of water then no way it works in the toilet!

All I can say is Fast delivery. I am disappointed in this product , it gave negative results, when tested by doctor my husband was positive .

You take a sheet of whatever this is and plunk it in the toilet after pooping. (pee separately and flush first) then you are supposed to feel confident that it is accurate. I just don't feel confident. I prefer FIT tests where you send them away for analysis. It might not be easy but you know it was done right. This test is not for me.
