Travelled with three rods in it no problem. They were safe in the overhead compartments of the planes even when people were jamming their bags in there. Great product!

Perfect for travel, i fit 3 rods broken down easily and airlines never even blinked twice. Passed through tsa without one comment. Make sure to pack your reels in checked luggage because those arent allowed on commercial flights

I ordered this tube for airline travel however had to return it due to being about an inch too short for me. However, it was well constructed and would recommend.. pay attention to the tube length and measure your poles.

Perfect travel tube. Zippers join together with a hole you can loop a lock trough. Good for airline travel. Protected my fly rods through 8 flights there and back from California to Alaska. TSA was unable to destroy my rods, though I’m sure they tried.

This is great case for the rod and reel. I deducted a half star because of the way the zippers work, it requires some care to zip around the corners. Deducted another half star because I don’t think larger reels would fit easily in the case and the padding is a little on the thin side. With that said, it great for my 4wt and 6wt with Nautilus reels.

Overall a great rod tube. Looks nice, fits everything i need when traveling and easily accommodates a lock between the zippers. Also it is normal size check in luggage, so no surcharges. Only complaint is that the strap is thin and there isnt any padding, so its not great for treks or walking more than 10 minutes.
