I have been buying this vanilla brand for a long time. I use vanilla in my cappuccino on the daily basis and the small bottle sold in retail store for me was not convenient any longer. This vanilla is strong enough for baking as well, not like a vanilla bean, but like the store bought "vanilla essence”. I never had issues with the shipment in regard to the bottle leaking, it would be nicer if the bottles were glass instead. The vanilla tastes good and in a scale 1 to 5 where 5 is very strong flavor the vanilla is a 3.7 in my opinion. The price is good and matches the quality. All around a great vanilla and affordable if you are using it daily.

I didn't buy this for baking because I don't eat sweets often, but I sure love the smell of vanilla. I mix this with water and essential oils and spray it in homemade, non-toxic air freshener. I just received it today. I got the 2-pack of large bottles. This smells delicious and it's a a far better value than the small bottles of extract at the store (which I can use up in one or two applications) but the smell doesn't fade and it doesn't have an artificial fragrance. It has a slight cherry note to me, but it's an intense vanilla (I might even pour some into a bath or dab it on my wrists). My whole apartment smells fantastic. This was a great buy and I'll purchase this again. Highly recommend!

Best rich flavor of vanilla you will ever have. I've been using only Dancy for years, and people absolutely love the recipes I make with it. It really stumps them, as to what ingredients could be in the dessert. No one can ever guess it, because it is so rich and amazing. Definitely worth every penny ! Enjoy !

I am very disappointed with this vanilla extract. Besides the smell being off … it has a strange taste to it … not at all the vanilla extract flavor I expected, but it tastes rather like coconut to me. I recently made a chocolate cake with a cooked chocolate icing. The icing definitely had that hint of coconut-y flavor to it. Tonight I made a dessert that has a cheesecake filling in it, using this vanilla in it. That cheesecake filling has a coconut flavor to it, not vanilla. I will throw these bottles, of what I would call imitation extract, out (I’ve had imitation vanilla extract that tasted much better than this!) and I’ll buy something that is hopefully a true Mexican vanilla extract. I’ve been buying extract from Bolo for years and have never had anything tastes to strange.
