I didn’t realize that price was for just ONE (plastic) cap. It was returned.

you've read it already from other post, why do these cost so much and why does the little " Porsche Crest " keep falling off. too bad no one has figured out how to replace just those ? ? I purchase so I would have a complete set ( period correct ) for my car. Yet at the same time time purchase the a Set ( of 4 ) from one of the various eBay sites for only $ 38.00 ( S&H ) included. They look terrific yet DO NOT replicate this periods detail. They appear to be same as Later 997.1 & 997.2 caps. Again, original appears to only be available from Porsche.

I have bought 3 of these and 2 have failed with the center crest falling out due to poor glue job. Seller should accept return of the 2 bad center caps or refund me for those 2.

Second time purchasing a replacement cap with crest. The crest falls off when driving and I can’t find just the crest to purchase. This time I will super glue the crest to the cap as I don’t plan on buying this a third time. When you get a new cap make sure you re-glue the crest to make sure it doesn’t fall off. These caps are prone to losing the crest….word to the wise!

I got these for the BBS Sport Design wheels that came with the 996 GT3 and also some other 996 C2s.They matched the silver of the face perfectly.

Now realising this is out of the return window not a lot i can do now, but working overseas, returning and only just using the car today the product failed and for 60 GBP each a very steep cost to return.. very disappointed by this item to fail so quickly and another cost which i did not expect after such a short time..

Be aware
Unfortunately have gad to send two back now due to crests falling off. Only driven the car 400 miles and has happened twice. Glue seems to be of bad quality so they come off. Have refunded me twice so not problems there.
