Its responsive low temperature fluidity is beneficial in both electronic and hydraulic controlled transmissions and transaxles. It is recommended for automatic transmissions for pre-2006 General Motors and post-1981 and pre-2007 Ford passenger cars (except where a Ford MERCONV or MERCONSP type product is specified) and light duty truck transmissions, as well as many imports. Valvoline DEX/MERC ATF may be used for service fill where Ford M2C138-CJ, M2C166-H, MERCON, DEXRON, DEXRON-II, DEXRON-III, or Allison TES-389, is recommended. If you're looking to swap fluid to improve shifting in that transmission, this fluid isn't the one. Shifting was just as notchy as with whatever ATF GM put in it at the factory. I still gave this 5 stars because there's nothing wrong with the fluid, it just wasn't the magic formula I wishing for.

The box was barely sufficient for shipping. It was handled so much, the box was like tissue. I'm very surprised that the container didn't burst open.At very least; it should have been marked as a fragile liquid.Good product great price when purchased in bulk.
