Our honey is raw so it is coarsely filtered, meaning only the bits you don’t want to eat, like bees and wax are left behind but all the pollen goodness stays in the honey, perfect for hay fever sufferers. Not only is it coarsely filtered, it isn’t pasteurized, so all of the enzymes that make honey good for you are left intact. The honey its self is generally very sweet and very floral.

There are plenty of recipes that use it so I thought why not get some.Pros:- Very reasonably priced.- Tastes fantastic, it was a little different than what I was expecting but I liked it.- Can be used in plenty of recipes, e.g. Porridge, Flapjack, Honey Chinese BBQ Pork, Peking Duck, Pecan Pie and tonnes more!- Nice packaging.Cons:- The jar can get sticky quite easily which means you have to clean it with a damp cloth but that is obviously not much of an issue.Packaging: It comes in nice hexagonal Prism shape just like honey comb which I thought was a nice touch. I reused the jar for some homemade jam.Usage: This clear raw honey flows well, can be used for food recipes and even as an antibacterial agent and the jar can even be reused for jam making or storing other things as it is very good quality.Overall Rating: 9.5/10, would bang.

Questo miele è fantastico. Consistenza perfetta, non è liquido ma nemmeno duro e cristallino. il gusto non è dolciastro ma molto equilibrato. le proprietà del prodotto sono note. Il costo non proprio basso è comunque riequilibrato da una qualità ottima. Qualche appunto sulla protezione del vasetto, che è molto forte, in vetro grosso e resistente, ma che a me è stato spedito in una busta che mi sembrava poco protettiva. Arrivato comunque integro.

Next order the honey came much clearer,& tastes just as good.Keep it in the fridge to make less runny & keeps for longer or a dry cool dark place.Opened my first jar a while after purchase delayed my original review.What a great tasting honey! Nearest to natural honey comb,from the hive I have yet tasted.Had a 'beekeeper' friend years ago,who placed her hives in apple orchards.Fresh, natural taste softens quickly after scraping a few times with a teasp..If often arrives crystallized ,try pre warming the spoon .I keep my jar near the toaster,using a small amount daily,as such a good unspoilt flavour,not sickly sweet as some are.Didn't know what I was missing.Heated originally in the microwave just what was needed for use on defrost.WAS FAR TOO HOT.,so now place amount to use,in a small mug sitting in a pyrex basin & pour hot not boiling water outside the mug inside the basin.It becomes runny after a few minutes if stir with warmed teasp..I mix into live yogurt ,just to make it less acidic & it mixes in well.Won't mix if thick.Microwave would heat may well kill off the beneficial nutrients .Supermarket honey I learnt a lot by Googling 'pasteurized versus raw honey'.raw honey crystallizes in time naturally,& has a very long shelf life.
