I have a lot of hair but it’s fine,it’s sits just below my shoulder and is wavy ( very fine blond/gray strands,I am 64 and try to air dry)..I am taking care to make sure my hair stays healthy.this gel reminds me of dippity do..I used it with magnetic rollers and let it air dry,it does add thickness and can sure hold the curls.plus this gel is not sticky at all. Blow dry or air dry,I would recommend this.to me it is worth the price point.

My hair is medium length. And I have to say this holds better then I expected. I usually have to use a lot of gel to hold it in place. But this product I can use a much smaller amount and it works.The smell is something that could be changed. Ever walk into a salon and get hit with that smell? Well this smells like that. It does seem to dissipate after a bit. But it is still pretty strong right off. I wish things were really fragrance free. No smells what so ever. But alas fragrance free is not free of fragrances.Otherwise yes I recommend this product.

I feel like I've tried them all but I always keep coming back to Nioxin Thickening Gel. It only takes a small amount and it distributes easily through my hair. I can get a comb/brush through my hair as I blow dry it (some thickening gels are so sticky they actually tangle my hair). It gives my hair a little oomph without dulling the shine. I've probably been using it for at least 10 years and don't foresee making a change. It's a keeper.

Well, I guess it works ok, just ok. Not good enough for me to get past the cheap hairspray scent this gel has to it. And it lingers!

Do not waste your money. It does nothing for fine and thin hair! If anything, it makes my hair look greasy and it weighs it down.

El Gel huele bien, tiene buena fijación y pude moldear mi cabello a mi gusto con apenas algo de producto (lo mismo que estaba acostumbrado con otros geles) me sorprendió lo bien que queda el cabello y los resultados que da. Escribo esta reseña siendo el primer día de aplicación, quizá actualice después para brindarles más detalle a largo plazo. De momento pienso seguir comprándolo.

This product boasts body...it does give density and it has a nice fresh smell. However, it doesn't hold well in humidity. The quality IS superb but I don't think this is a good summer product as it seemingly disappears from the hair quickly enough after styled.The above was my original review.I've been working it--it requires a lot of product, often used on semi-damp hair, and you will get a lot of density and decent hold to boot.No flaking, No build up. This is a good volume gel.
