This is my go-to tamarind concentrate. The flavor is deep, tangy, and well balanced—just like fresh tamarind without the hassle of soaking and straining. I’ve used it in everything from curries and marinades to chutneys and pad thais, and it never disappoints.The consistency is smooth, and a little goes a long way, making it great value for the price. Plus, it comes in a well-sealed container that keeps it fresh.Would definitely buy again!

Not quite as sour/sweet as i like so it took a little more to achieve the desired results flavor wise, so i had to use more than normal. It’s good though. 2 batches of pad, everyone liked it, makes good candy also. When received i expected a light mess, found no leaks, wider lip on the tub makes a difference with the seal. Will buy again when i need more. Just one thing, i noticed some light crunch in the concentrate, possibly seed or shell fragments. Pour it through a strainer.

This is the ingredient I've been missing for YEARS for Pad Thai sauce.Simplest recipe ever:3 Tbsp. palm sugar, chopped (tightly packed) OR brown sugar OR EVEN white sugar3 Tbsp. water4 Tbsp. Thai Dragonfly Cooking Tamarind Concentrate2 Tbsp. fish sauce Stir together in a saucepan. Heat until bubbling. That’s it.

We bought this to compliment some curry paste that we purchased. It does a great job at bringing in that unique sweet and sour flavor profile. We had tried just using sugar and lime, but this just adds the right amount of tartness right away with just a tablespoon or so. We are satisfied with it!

The product came just in time for me to test it out on some food. When I got the safety seal off, I was surprised to see a "concentrated" product looking so watery. I got a spoon and stirred it and it was a bunch of granular stuff at the bottom of the jar. Stirred some more & pulled the spoon out, swiped my finger along the bottom side of the spoon, gave my finger a lick & OMGI had a crunchy bit on my tongue.Needless to say the contents of the jar went down the went down the tubes.FYI it tasted nothing like the concentrated tamarind products I had previously gotten which are now for unfortunately out of stock.
