This is a good tea that comes in a beautiful can to keep it fresh. The scent and flavor is better than other genmaicha green teas I have tried. The bags of tea inside have a good amount of green tea and toasted rice inside to make a great tasting hot tea. I have one or two cups every morning or afternoon and I believe they are a great part of my diet. This tea helps to keep me from feeling hungry so I drink it before lunch or dinner. It works to prevent me from eating too much. But it's the flavor I love the best!

Our family loves this tea. Been drinking it for 8+ years. It's a deep, strong jasmine green tea and is not for faint tea drinkers. Although you can moderate it (make it a light tea) but that will detract from this particular tea's robust, deep flavor. Also, this comes in pearl form so if you are unfamiliar with what that is, it is loose tea rolled into little balls. The tea is not in individual bags so you will need a teapot or in my case, a drink bottle with a tea separator. This is usually metal or ceramic and can be purchased anywhere. I've bought double-walled glass tea containers on Bolo, Target, as well as World Market Cost Plus. They all work really well with this tea as well as any loose leaf tea.

I would expect this product by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to be pricier, but the current price makes it an affordable treat that can be enjoyed daily either hot or iced and not saved for special occasions. The flavors are subtle, yet fragrant with fruity notes, and the tea comes in pretty little sachets in the tin which helps keep the tea fresh since each bag is not individually wrapped in foil or paper. It's such a pretty tin too, and makes a nice hostess gift.The tea is not overly strong or bitter, even when left steeping longer than the period listed on the instructions. Instructions note to use 12 to 16 ounces of water per teabag and to steep for 5 minutes or according to taste. If you are planning to have it iced, I'd use less water of course, or throw in an additional teabag so the flavor isn't diluted when the ice melts.

The tea is great, has an awesome jasmine flavor but I initially ordered this tea and then canceled it immediately but Bolo sent it to me anyway so I ended up keeping it and of course paying for it even though it was canceled, I just didn't want to deal with the return etc. That being said, if you want to spend this much money on this container of tea I would suggest using the teabag twice which is what I've been doing and it's just as good the second time. I have no problem spending as much money as I have to on my jasmine tea because I don't drink coffee, but I felt like for the price you don't get many teabags and since I had never tasted it I wasn't sure if I would even like it. It's amazing how different each tea can taste so much different evening though it's a "jasmine pearl" due to where it comes from originally and how it's made. After I canceled the initial order for this I found some other brands on Bolo which are also high quality organic but loose tea and they both were cheaper and will last much longer. If you're going to have a cup of jasmine tea occasionally I think my expense is worth it but I drink 4-5 cups a day so I go through the bags pretty quickly.

This is my absolute favorite tea of all time (aside from your everyday sweet iced tea)! You have to be careful though, only steep it for 2-3 minutes or it turns bitter really quickly! The flavor is very delicate, and the smell is heavenly. Sometimes I like to put two bags into one cup to give it a boost. Yum! I've had this just plain, and I've tried it with sugar and also honey. It's good no matter what! This tea is not for someone who likes big bold flavors, as I said the flavor is delicate. But, if you're a coffee drinker who generally likes a lot of cream and sugar, there is a good chance you will like this.

I love passion tea and can no longer find small bags of the brand I previously used (Paradise). This tea tastes like what I get in the restaurants and the passion flavor is enough---i.e. no need for sweetener if you don't want it. I actually use it to make sun tea. I use 3 bags plus 2 black tea bags in 2qts of filtered water. After a day in the sun and a cool down in the refrigerator, it's perfect.

I bought this because someone else posted a comment on twitter about how amazing it was. They were not kidding. The taste is wonderful, delivers on the unbelievable smell that hits you in the face when you open the tin. Although this is very pricey, there is no other tea on the market that can compete with this flavor and scent intensity. Really great tea.
