This works well to clean the condenser of my combo washer/dryer. It’s firm enough to loosen lint but not so firm that you worry about damaging the fins.The hardest part is physically storing them when they are not in use.

the cylindrical brushes arrived in a box, but the plastic sleeve that GE uses as retail packaging flattens the one with the longer bristles. Sounds like others have the same issue - otherwise I would return this and get a different one! A flattened brush reduces some of the utility, but it still gets the job done thankfully.

Increased efficiency!
So far just used the brush for the fridge. Worked well, cleaned 10 years of crud off of the condenser coils. Now the compressor hardly runs.
